You could just use twin arrows / oblique shot / heavy shot while doing retreat shot. Why waste time spamming emotes when you could be doing more damage with the same amount of button mashing.

So Quarrel C3 and SR C2 is not really that viable anymore, compared to lets say a rank of ranger and something else instead of Quarrel C3?

I been holding out on my Quarrel C3 just for this patch so any further info would be very helpful.

yes strange though i cant auto attack with retreat shot anymore

but i can auto attack with running + retreat shot

just tried on vedas plateau and it hits the mobs

for ET Ranger C3 has always been the meta up until now. I made QS 3 for fun and farming all the while assuming we’ll get the RS+RS nerf.

Why do people keeping saying SR2 is no longer viable because retreat shot doesn’t work with auto attacks anymore? Running shot and Retreat shot are you skills you use for completely different scenarios.

Running Shot is for Single Target. Retreat Shot is for AoE. If your concern is for using RS+RS on bosses then use Retreat Shot when Running shot is on CD and your overall damage output should still be the same.

alright boys the running + retreat doesnt work anymore although it doesnt cancel the buff when u auto attack

It becomes totally different story when you have chrono in the party in which, for ET most of time. I can easily assume that you dont have QS3-SR2 because you actually feel the difference ALOT

first, emo-spamming also works while you using other skills as oblique shot.
second, the purpose of using emo-spam is to stay in one spot while using retreat shot.
If you dont know a thing, please humble yourself and listen or look up.

you should also know that those movie clips were taken in kTOS before steady aim was nerfed.

Being able to auto attack while using retreat shot isn’t going to make or break the class. The extra auto attack damage is barely noticeable on a mob of 100k+ hp targets.

The nerf affects bossing ability a lot more, but it’s not like you pick up QS3 SR2 for single target damage. AoE capability is more or less untouched.

Eh, who does auto attack on elite mobs? maybe you do, but I don’t.
I was talking about running shot + retreat shot all the time. (For Boss) :slight_smile: You clearly don’t have much experience of using that combo on boss and you clearly haven’t done much research on your build.

Perhaps you only chose QS3+SR2 build just for an AoE capability but most of us didn’t. Are you seriously saying you chose QS3 ‘just for an AoE capability’?

Whats your level btw?
