Yes. Using basic attacks while using retreat shot will end retreat shot. Ktos received this fix on 26/05/2016.
just to be clear (since i dont want to get too excited for nothing), kToS got a patch where retreat shot will be cancelled upon doing normal attacks then they reverted it back to before where they can do normal attacks (w/ runnign shot) while doing retreat shot?
I did not see this in any of the ktos patch notes, any source? Afaik, they did not revert the change in ktos.

i dont think we will receive the full kToS patch tho. didnt see the linker nerf in the patch notes. that and most probably other stuff.
but the linker nerf is itos original nerf -q

we may have gotten ahead of a patch where RS + RS got reverted back but it’s more likely that we’ll receive the nerf eventually.
the only nerf(more like bug) i see coming is the emote spam+ retreat bug fix
running shot and retreat is not as op as people think its just make position a bit easier
from some random SR in-game:
rs + rs doesn’t work anymore
yes, retreat + autoattack and retreat+running doesn’t work
but “emo-spam” still working
You could just use twin arrows / oblique shot / heavy shot while doing retreat shot. Why waste time spamming emotes when you could be doing more damage with the same amount of button mashing.

So Quarrel C3 and SR C2 is not really that viable anymore, compared to lets say a rank of ranger and something else instead of Quarrel C3?
I been holding out on my Quarrel C3 just for this patch so any further info would be very helpful.
