Schwarzer Hide nerf, Why?

My gf just got to Schwarzer tonight, and we noticed that hide makes her to leave the mount and go hide alone. when she mounts in hide the pet will still be visible. Then i just read on the patch notes that hide will be changed, and mount will not be avalible any more with hide. My question is: Why?

Right now you can move at the hide speed if you mount after cloaking, i hope you can do that still tomorrow, because that’s the only reason she builded scout schwarzer, just for mov speed and manouver.

If they really change the hide for non-mount, it’s a big problem for someone who builded scout schwarzer imo, hope they think of it. My gf is really angry :frowning:

Well read the skill tooltip next time…it clears says you cant use it while mounted…

I hope staff thinks about this a bit deeper, you can’t just nerf a whole class on the go, and without even a poor excuse, such as balance or whatever. It’s simply a waste of hours leveling a char that it’s now broken.

EDIT1: Just cheking how cloaking works right after the patch, and you totally broke the class. The pet wont go into hide state (even if hunter pets got a skill to detect hidden) so when you do hide, you auto dismount and the pet follows you VISIBLE!!!. Srsly, how stupid can that be? Works the same for my Musketeer, when i go in hide, the pet is still visible.

I think the problem is you don’t want people moving at 43 mv speed and you just nerfd the ** out of it. It’s obvious that the main reason you want a shwarzer is mobility, and then you go and nerf it’s options?

EDIT2: You run faster in hide than mounted, is this a fuking joke?

EDIT3: I’m trying to convince my gf to reroll…

EDIT4: How is scout+schwarzer working on kToS?

I hope you think about it abit deeper.
The tooltip already said you can’t use hide while mounted. What makes you think you can use it before mounting and then mounting? Doesn’t that circumvent the tooltip description?

Read the skill description, it says nothing about companions.

It’s called synergy with your pet. Why should a scout have his pet visible while in hide?

Nothing about it saying your pet will be cloaked along with the skill. That is called imbal. Your gf will be glad that she even profited from such gameplay in the first place

That’s nonsense. Pet going into hide with you it’s just logic. What is not logic is a scouts pets not going into hide with him. What if you want to build a Hunter-Scout? You would like the pet to go into hide to approach the target safer, then use pet skills. But no, because you think it’s not logic for pets cloaking :S

You are just unbalancing more the archer class, must be a cryo with shield nerf anger.

I didn’t made scout but the skill simulator that was available since a while now does write it isn’t compatible with pet.

Again, i never seen nothing about mount restricted cloaking on the skill simulator, and still wont say nothing about it atm, please check.

It’s that Companion: (icon) at the bottom. An X means you can’t use it while mounted. Lock means you can only use it while mounted.

I see, they must have changed that today, with the new patch, because it didn’t say nothing when she started her char.

i can confirm the X is there for at least a few days
i reroll and reroll and reroll my SR build for manytime
and i use that simulator all the time

It’s been there for almost 1 month or so
and also you could just search here about that
we have been told that the pet won’t go stealth along with you, and you will be dismounted if you use it
