Another week without any update.
And the more I play, the more old bugs I see reappearing. Not mentioning the lodge being completely broken with characters appearing on every tab with 0 enchantment or unidentified equipped items, pets all grouped in the center, completely random selection of character when logging back to the lodge, game options not saved anymore and randomly selected when switching to another character…
Meanwhile my characters can teleport around fine… even when none of them are kinos.
i havent encounter any of issues you mentioned lol.
my toons position and pets saved.my options all saved.even last selected toon saved.
the game is just fine for me except for the fps drop in town and end game cm lag spike random occurence.
try verify cache, or remove addons
that teleporting is a sign of either bad network or slow pc imo.
Nope, it’s a known bug. It was fixed in an update around May and reappeared with the r10 update because all the patches since April got reverted.
Another week of no new fking content. I guess IMC already realized that its too late now and the game is clearly dead. Just trying to milk players out from gachas. And what another afk event? Good job
Stat Reset Potions removed from sale
- Stat Reset Potions will no longer be available for purchase at the TP shop.
- Reset Pack DLC is also scheduled to be discontinued from sale at Steam stores in the near future.
- Stat Reset Potion and Reset Pack DLC will return to the shops after a renewal.
What. The. ■■■■. Is this ■■■■?
jesus lord the new goddess blessed cube tho… TAKE MAA MONEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
@Staff could you please consider good skins for One-handed maces for once?
Why are all of the mace skins such jokes?
Do you believe that maces are a joke?(would make sense, since you made them extra weak and took away Clerics ability to stun enemies with mace attacks so they can no longer CC in PVP)
Why is the two-handed sword a chainsaw? (and by the way, the only good weapon skin)
Why is there no Wizard Hat? Why only a witch hat with a ribbon, so male characters can’t wear it?
I don’t know, the developers’ graphic designers seem to be rather biased towards cuteness to a point where a lot of things(head accessories & weapon skins) are completely ridiculed and feel to be a mockery rather than a reward for buying cubes.
I guess people will still buy to get that chainsaw skin or that wolf face mask, but at this point it just became a total farce.
Popo Shop is dead;
it’s now Elixirs and Ore Boxes or nothing.
No Leticias Cubes so iTOS can grab another two weeks of 30 TP cube madness
Maybe it’s the sign that the game is really dying and the staffs consider making more money before closing down the service (already seen that tactic on other MMORPGs tbh).
Actually… If I’m not mistaken, this double Goddess month happened too last year.
Anyway, I’m much more worried about the fact they didn’t updated the game yet. So no new raids and a lot of stuffs that are already on ktos and not here.
They need to update this game. Otherwise, Maplestory 2 will devour entirely the playerbase (I lost a lot of friends to MS2 and most part of them don’t want to come back even after an update).
Haha, the guild I’m in is dead, too (basically), even the leader doesn’t want to play anymore.
Fedimian is so dead that even getting into Velcoffer is hard nowadays.
No Halloween event on the horizon, Leticias cubes absent, all that’s there to do is daily moon event + saalus + Velcoffer if lucky…
No new raids and no more raid stones = no more entries into old raids or otherwise the opportunities on the better equipments are wasted…
Jeez relax a bit guys. Back when the game released we were getting significant patches every 4 months or so and we were many months behind kTOS.
Now we’re getting a significant patch every 2 months, in a tic-toc release cycle (bigger patch, smaller patch) and we’re just 1 month behind kTOS.
We got rank 10 (the 3rd big patch of 2018) on September 4th. Following the current release scheduling, we can expect the 3rd small patch of 2018 very soon (in 1-2 weeks)
What guild are you in? But yeah, I’ve noticed the exodus as well.
Quite a few ppl wer hit by the ban hammer during the sliver-hack. Interestingly the players I recognize were those with (over-) the top gears - maybe they were hit rightfully so.
released new costumes… complained
released updates early although theres still bugs… complained
hold updates for maybe legal, or bug fixing or whatever good reason it is… complained
released popo shop again… complained
badmouthing…
doomposting…
jeez
be positive once in your life
expect nothing and be grateful, that way you live better life
thanks for the update.please keep the service up.
Ok, people. Thank you very much.
The complaint is not so much the pace of the updates–it’s that they decided to omit content that could have been given to us 2 months ago, while bundling others in that patch. It’s that, when they do weird customizations of different patches, bringing in certain balance changes while omitting content like enchant crystals, for example, more bugs creep up. And 2 months of dealing with bugs, particularly bugs dealing with the core functionality of the game, makes people really upset.
This on top of IMC’s really poor data management during the market issue a few weeks ago, in tandem with MS2’s release, means that people found all the excuses they needed to quit, which further puts stress on all the people who stayed and have to deal with the same old mess.
All the same, I don’t want to discourage you from what you’re doing. People love the game, and there are certain members of the community who go out of their way to make the experience for players as great as possible–even though you don’t even have all the tools to fix the core issues people are upset about. The core criticism of releasing yet another goddess cube while sleeping on the content which will provide (almost more critically than the content itself) bug fixes is just that. It’s not a criticism of the playerbase or even most of the @staff, it’s just a criticism of the people making such decisions.
Rank 9, for the better part of the entire last year, was smooth. It had a respectable update schedule and even though people don’t like the concept of piecing together Velco gear and all its features, it was a push of content that lasted for a very long time and kept people busy. But as rank 10 hit, most people are just bored and there’s nothing new to do. And for all the people who have no interest in MS2, we’re in this awkward position of trying to keep people engaged while also not having anything interesting to engage anyone with. It’s all frustrating as hell.
Thanks for your detailed response.
Not really much to add as you’re more familiar with the patch roadmap than I am.
All I can say is… wait a bit longer… as some exciting things are [redacted]
Anyway, let’s not lose hope yet :b
I really don’t wanna see this game die, so what we can do as a community is hold eachother together, and be clear in regards to giving feedback to IMC. Complain when something it’s wrong but also commend them when they do something right.
I know many people are already tired of waiting, it’s been 2 years since release already. In the beginning IMC had some trouble following the feedback scattered among the forums, but this year they’ve reinforced their Steam team. They continue a bit understaffed, but at least they’ve been communicating a lot more.
Maybe we could try like, each week, discuss a specific feature/pain of the game and brainstorm on how to improve it? In way that promotes gameplay, but also keeps the game balanced and gives some money in return.
Don’t get yourself in trouble.
