Sapper changes and questions

After getting to sapper circle 3 I’ve noticed a few things that I think need to be changed and also have questions on how a few abilities function.

Claymore I would like to have no placement time, its a nice ability but between the placement time and the explosion time you usually will take a lot of damage in a pve situation and if you are in a party will almost never hit with this ability. I haven’t tested it in PvP but I’m not seeing it be used well there either. Overall the skill is solid.

Punji stake needs to be completely remade, its useless. I can see one use for it and I don’t even know if its in the game and that is if you are a defending guild and had to defend your castle or something you could then have sappers place these down. Even then you can’t conceal them from the looks of things and the knock back direction seems to be random so its still bad. It is only in this situation that it even becomes somewhat wanted. The cast time is to long and you are able to easily be knocked out of it making this an unusable skill in all situations. Replace it with something like a bear trap to snare someone or something for a time and do a decent amount of damage, maybe bleed effect.

Detonate traps question. Which traps does it favor to detonate. Looks like it says it detonates up to 4. Also what are counted as traps, I’ve tried using this ability against the boss traps with no luck.

Broom trap need to be visually more appealing. The skill itself is good but the visual just doesn’t look good would like to see something a little more deadlier then just a white texturless light.

Collar bomb nothing should be able to resist this. I’ve run into many times where I try using this ability just to see a pop up saying resist, then later use it on the same mob and see it work. It’s not like this is giving me control of the mob, let the explosion be dodgable/blockable but the placement of the ability should always hit. Also the stacks of the explosions should be more spread out on the enemy and not just in one big group.

Collar bomb question. If an enemy that has collar bomb on him dies what happens to the bombs

Spike shooter this need to be able to trigger off of flying enemies. Broom trap and this is our most reliable source of mass AoE damage and both can’t hit flying. This one the arrows that pop out can but the skill itself wont trigger off of them. Change this please there are to many flying mobs in the game which tend to also be the most deadly for a circle 3 ability to not be allowed to work on them.

Spike shooter question at max rank it says it shoots out 10 arrows. Can all 10 arrows hit, if they can does the size of the placement make the difference?

I definitely agree with the complaints you have with Punji and Claymore.

Detonate traps only work on your traps and your allies’. Magic circles like Safety Zone and Heals are included in this skill, so don’t be the jerk Sapper who detonates all the Heals as everyone is half-dying.

Congrats on getting your Collar Bombs to work. Mine just disappear into thin air, even when it’s attached to a mob in the crowd.

Broom Trap needs no change. Have a listen to the SFX, it’s actual rotating lightsabers!

For Spike Shooter, the placement seems to make a difference. The arrows are shoot out along the wire. So if there’s a long line and only one mob hits a portion of it, you’ll see some arrows shooting thin air.
