Rune Caster could be a fun class filling the void for people who loves powerful skills with a long cast time but it has several issues that kill them in my opinion.
Cooldowns are too long for most of the spells. I’m somewhat fine with destruction and protection, isa is okish i suppose even if it’s only real purpose is a single skill in the entire game, but justice is so bad 50s is impossible to justify and giant too situational and better off being used as a speed buff on a 5 minute cd (like really, 5 minutes?).
I’d say that giant and justice needing help as skills is the main issue.
One way to fix giant would be to make the stomp attack deal ridiculous damage while under the effect of rune of giant if you really wish to kep the non skill useage fact of the skill. Otherwise i’ll still use it as a speed boost or to help strugglers in rushes and nothing else really.
As for justice… that skill is the biggest joke in the game.
Long cooldown, bad hitbox, atrocious cast time (and no, even if it was really changed to 6s it’s still bad) and to top it all terrible damage output. And it uses a consumable for what it’s worth. This skill needs a huge % modifier, a massively increased amount of hits or a massively reduced cd (15 max really).
In the end because only destruction and isa are really worth it in pve, you find yourself barely using the class at all which is pretty sad really. And you only really pick th class because of the isa + ice wall gimmick otherwise everything else is a better choice atm, which should be a warning bell something is wrong with the class to begin with
