Rogue + Hackapell build help

Hi, I’m currently working on a build around rogue + falconer + hackapell, but i’m not quite sure if I get:

  • Archer 1 / QS3 / Falconer 3 / Hackapell 2
  • Archer 1 / QS3 / Rogue 2 / Falconer 1 / Hackapell 2
  • Archer 2 / QS3 / Rogue 2 / Hackapell 2

I would love it to be a STR 2:1 DEX build, and I’m mainly a PVE player.
I don’t really see a point in getting Archer 2 since Kneeling Shot dismounts you, but this is the build that I found more frequently around the forums.

Thank you for any suggestions or build help <3

Archer 1 / QS3 / Falconer 3 / Hackapell 2 --> this is 10 rank so not possible. only hacka1 or falcon2
Archer 1 / QS3 / Rogue 2 / Falconer 1 / Hackapell 2 —> this you can work on.
Archer 2 / QS3 / Rogue 2 / Hackapell 2 —> archer 2 for? crit rate? not a good choice. better pick appraiser

Sorry but that’s simply not true. Appraiser’s blindside crit increase isn’t clear at all, but it’s clearly minimal since it’s at best “hard to notice”. Besides, overestimate doesn’t increase enhance level for swords (they are considered main weapons for both gems and buffs).

Both Archer2-QS3-Falc3-Hacka1 and Archer2-QS3-Rogue2-Hacka2 are viable builds.

I’ve tried both of them and I really like the style of the falc3-hacka one. The second one, albeit that much more devastating in single target combat is just too mana hungry and suffers from small hitboxes when dealing with packs imo.

I would also suggest you try a variant of Archer2-Ranger1-X-Rogue2-X-Hacka2 build since it’s the most usual general Hacka template. Steady aim+Feint+Barrage has some real nice damage on a lowish cd, besides you get backstab + sneak hit from rogue 2 for extra damage/filler.

What’s the point in getting archer 2? Is it just for the 10 point multishot or something?

for 150 crit rate from swift step

Archer 2 is needed for Swfit step attribute: https://tos.neet.tv/attributes/301018

It basically gives you +150 crit rate (plus the extra evasion) at level 10.

Thanks, that makes lots of sense!

Is it worth going falconer 1 as the second X, for some AoE support?

Yeah it is. Even after Falcon rework, I still think falcon 1 is a solid choice for hacka, decreasing mobs ADR to 1 means you can hit as many as your skill AAR tooltip says, so it makes investing in AAR stuff more relevant. Hovering is also very easy to cast and forget against bosses (or PvP) as an extra damage source and pheasant has a huge area AoE on a not so big cd (25’ cd after rework).

I really liked this build more  guess I’ll go with it.
I got really confused while looking up hacka builds because of the rogue profusion.

Thank you all for the feedback and insights!

Blindside tests have shown around 30% more crit, which is 15% more then archer’s swiftstep attribute, also blindside’s attribute gives 25% more crit dmg (he likes rogue he will have 3x crit boosts via Cav. charge, Blindside and Sneak hit…). You suggested falconer is good for pvp if he decides to pvp… Have you heard of “Devaluation” son? “Provides a chance to turn all enemy equipment enhancement and transcendence values to 0”. Lmao falcon 1 hacka… Skarp’s attrib. “IncreasesAoE attack ratio of [Skarphuggning] by 1 per attribute level max 10”.

Your “simply not true”

ROUGE 3 is much better than getting archer2 with more damage backstab. and the evasion godly buff. +more chance to crit. compare to 150crit rate bonus. please go to hacka thread. more info there.

its about 20%+ crit rate chance (pure, just like rouge). from what I remember. plus the bonus more crit atk damage.

I’d really like to see where both you and @LegendWait4it got that blindside crit (20%~30%+ crit) info from. That’s completely different from what I remember.

Blindside has a nice AoE effect for the debuff, making the extra crit chance available to everyone attacking the debuffed targets. Uptime isn’t that bad as well wit 3 OH, 20’ duration and 40’ cd. With such a big crit chance increase it makes me wonder why Appraiser isn’t more popular as a filler in pretty much all archer damage builds (while rogue 1-2 and archer 2 are).

I second your suggestion to go to hacka thread for class specific questions as well.

@LegendWait4it The attribute increases Crit Attack not crit damage (like Fencer’s Epee Garde for instance), so it’s not as good as you make it sound at all.

Besides, whenever I comment about a builId I hardly mention PvP side of it unless that’s something I was asked about. I just don’t think there’s much point to this broken PvP we have.

And just for the sake of clarity here, my suggestion was a general template: Archer2-Ranger1-X-Rogue2-X-Hacka2, which I firmly stand for since it’s a tested and tried one. When asked whether it was viable to get Falc there as the second X, I do believe it is and that’s what I said, especially if that’s a gameplay you’d like for youself. Playing what you like totally bests playing the best min-max build anytime imo (as long as the build as a whole is consistent overall).

Guys, why QS?
RS works with Hacka? How?

This one has any chance to work? https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#31116d9977.4f.254575.15234255.1a25557585.182551617a85

Some people just like the Running Shot playstyle: it can be used for quickly gathering mobs before you grind them to death with hacka skills (since you move fast while shooting); it can also be used as a cheap filler damage option when sirgle targetting, and Hacka is so mana hungry that it makes sense somehow.

Regarding your build, Wugushi isn’t in a very good state right now, sadly. It used to be my fav archer to play up to rank 7. Wugu 1 in your build basically offers 2 single target skills (cast and forget, but wugong gu infection isn’t very reliable for AoEing) which do around 1.8k% and 2k% skill factors during their duration of 7.5~10 seconds, .

Appraiser’s a nice filler option, but it competes with Rogue 3 in your build, and keep in mind overestimate doesn’t increase your sword enchancement levels (it’s a main weapon still). So it’s either appraiser’s + crit chance (%) debuff, and devaluation for PvPing (not very effective in PvE) and shop or Rogue’s + damage on backstab, + 10% crit from behind from sneak hit and actually useful Evasion buff (I don’t like it much at level 5, but level 10 is very nice to have).
