i never mentioned them before. And now you asked me why i bring another setting in here? ask yourself why.
And everything is still in progress, but you react like this is their final version of rebalance.

And why did I do that? Because you just let it look like that everyone that is focused to top dps will leave Sc3 just NOW but it was not picked before already.
They just ruin a class that wasnt that good anyways. How can I say that without bringing an example for what is top tier atm? ā€¦
Also, if that overheat restriction goes for EVERY no 0 cd skill that will be the final version. You know that and I know that. Because if that wouldnt be the case other classes would also start crying why Sc3 is the only cls that has no cd still. Think about it.

Ask this yourself, will you still play pyro if agny never exist? If the answer is no, then you are a DPS fanatic.
The way i see it, they changed it to overheat and wait for ktest feedback to rebalance it again in the next patch.

I dont even have a Pyro, so what do I care? I dont like the whole Wizard class line in this game.

If you dont like it, then do something significant. I doubt you complaining it here in this forum will change anything. Maybe you can email the devs every day about your discontent toward the change until they reply?

havent read through all replies but i do know new split arrow does get some nasty damage scaling.

An interesting thing to let fill in for split arrows downtime is that oblique shot might actually be usefull now.

On the other hand, archers Multishot was changed aswell, now in beta server it hits 10 times nomatter what level it is. lvl 5 in this has the damage of 68%, hitting 10 times gives a total value of 680%.where lvl 15 in multishot would only reach 960%, this opens a window to roll other classes than A3 to fill in for scout3ā€™s downtime.

Taking a guess, i bet IMC is too scared to let DEX builds rule for us physical attackers again, so they just had to add 5 overheat 10 sec cooldown on ALL 0 cooldown skills, yesā€¦ they even bothered to do this to sw1ā€™s thrusting.

Or that imc wants us to do rotations rather than one button mode with certain/all builds.

After all more dex, more speed, and more speed means faster rotations, and faster rotations means more damage!

Do note that this is data from test server, and is not official, hence its subject to change at any time.

The point is, why they did it to all
0 cd skills, without considering the particular case of each one. Split arrow has never been op and it was the only reason to take c3. Hopefully imc do something about it

Definitely not. There is too much opportunity for variations in builds. Cooldowns are not smooth optimized for a rotation like its the case in gw2.

I havent noticed this dmg increase so far and I must say thats huge but sacrificing infinite spam just for an unsafe dmg increase that can be lowered with any update is a sh*t worth for me.

I already wrote in another thread that Im not going to provide actual suggestions before I dont see that the iToS comunity is involved at the development process. We dont even have access to the test server without technical bypasses, no one tells us whats going on there (some members translate patches and not the staff) and I am supposed to write a text to devs that have problems with english? Oh yeah, great ideaā€¦

I think you misunderstood me. Just because my first post here is located next to your post, doesnt mean i was replying to your post, in fact i was replying to tiaaa. It was nice debating with you.

Mustnt forget that its a beta server and anything may change before its release.

Cant really create any builds right now anyway, doomsaying a class or its abilities right now is useless until the rebalance is final and hits release.

Exceptā€¦ they changed that playstyle. It was about sustained DPS - now itā€™s more burst damage, but also more running around in circles, waiting for cooldowns. If I wanted to do that, Iā€™d play Wizard. Also, if I cared about damage, I wouldnā€™t main Scout 3 in the first place.

what is your scout3 build consist of? can your scout3 solo crystal mine mission and defeat all those 7 bosses?

a3 scout 3 falco mergen, pretty standard, but i have others two (a3 scout 3 also). Anyway my main is a sr3, my scouts were made it to clear the dun 170, never tried crystal mine, i really donā€™t see the point of the question, my complain itā€™s not about the damage or something as the previous post said, i just want to keep my clear time for the dungeon, because i donā€™t see any other source of money for me. Dun 290 itā€™s just not enough, and i hate locks and necros.

i have iDreamyā€™s scout3 as my main char, not as mainstream as a3sc3fal1mergen, i know. Your scout3 is a farmer type right? so when they nerf split arrow, you lose everything, arent you? Well this split arrow nerf doesnt affect my scout3 in the slightest, because my build still has so many skill combo left in its arsenal.

About silver income, if you can solo crystal mine, you can farm portium (200k silver/pcs) and werewolf card which will become 1st tier card after crit rate become rare

No, for me farming is only a bonus. I donā€™t do daily 170 dungeon run, I only do it when I need some money. Also Iā€™m Archer 3 - Scout 3 - Musketeer 2. For me Scout isnā€™t farming character, I play him, because I love the class. I like Split Arrow and throwing in my other skills, when they are off cooldown. During 3 circles of Scout, we donā€™t get many attacking skills and Split Arrow is our main source of sustained damage.

Itā€™s not just Scout, I feel the same way about changes in Bokor and Hoplite (my other characters). Bokor already has to debuff enemy before using Effigy and Hoplite has to pick up the spear, so why put those skills on cooldown? Especially Hoplite, who gets Spear Throw at circle 3.

Maybe Iā€™m just a sucker for a 0s cooldown skills <__<

I just want to remind to everyone saying that scout 3 would be fineā€¦well after the change i havenā€™t seen a single scout 3.

Maybe the reason is that the players testing different builds. After the Rank-Reset-Event you will see Scout 3.

Tic Tac, the clock is ticking, only four days left and there are no metas around. Whatā€™ll happen after? I wonder.

Iā€™ve done like 16 different builds or so between my three archers -_-.
Including Scout 3, Scout 2, and Scout 1.
I assume most people are trying all sorts of crap trying to min-max or going to Schwarz to farm.
