I was talking about lv315 materials, which have 500 DPK (so the worst case is 0,2%) and i am not saying that the actual system is better than pure RNG. I absolutely prefer RNG because in my opinion what we had until now was pure DPK (i think they ninja-removed top-down after the drop fiasco) and because the actual system is shared.
I just hope the rate are not 0,001% tomorrow…
Nah, it still top-down, if its not …how come I get 2 of purple cube (weapon+armor) in HG after killing only 20 mobs in empty channel (other channel do have people tho)

You are wrong, it’s confirmed rates have been increased. 315 materials are more easy to get. Just check the ktos thread

ktest drop rate and ktos is a bit different.
I actually prefer RNG on item drops rather than the DPK exploits. Really harsh. To me who only have limited time in a day to play TOS, being able to farm materials in an RNG way is kinda good because I have a hell of experience with DPK system.
Was quietly farming at Ch1 Nobreer Forest for oranments to make a shield, the other 3 channels are unpopulated so I’m pretty sure something will bound to drop for me. And as I was nearing the supposedly DPK thrsehold, an SR suddenly popped out of nowhere and poof, the item was his. It doesn’t really matter if it’s just a day or two, maybe he/she was just lucky. But this scenario went on for weeks. Hands up farming materials.Best DPK stealer ever. Some told me how to do a DPK steal, but nah. It just goes to say that the DPK can be exploited.
Now, for people who wants DPK and RNG mixed together, it was there from the start. My corsair can pillage 315 mats. The monster aint dead yet but the material just dropped. Its what I call luckand its RNG. It happens rarely though (pillage thingy). Even dungeoun cubes from boss can be pillaged, but lets not go there about pillage buff. The point is, whether its DPK or RNG mixed, I would love RNG better.
Why?
Because it will be a lesser trauma not to get a drop from hours farming rather than, expecting an item that will just be stolen by some who doesn’t have a heart, or from some lucky passerby.
We live in an RNG world anyways. You never know when you’ll die or when you’ll win a lottery. But for your hard earned investment to just be stolen away from you? That’s really harsh man.
Anyways … RNG still is the best. No more DPK please. But I would love it, if the drop item system for example is retireved at an NPC. I killed 1000’s of these mob. Then a message will pop out “Congatulations you have just killed a (No.of Mob) … retrieve your reward at the Wings of Vibora NPC” … and instead of getting a useless experience card for a max leveled character, it will give an item that drops from that mob every nth time you kill the certain mob. Now that’s what DPK should be. Your hard work pays off.
Easy right? The ruling DPK system … goodbye !!! PLEASE DONT COME BACK!!! Dont want to remember the traumatizing experience farming mats and being stolen … T_T

Red Orbs and Monster Gems are 0.02%. Orange Mats are 0.27%. The rates were increased.
inb4 new drop rates will only last 2weeks and will be back to DPK via unannounced ninja patch.

tested, everything drops on higher rate.
HG - michmas temple dropping cubes and cube frags left and right. like super high drop rate. i got 4x cube frags in 2 mins and 1 full cube in 2 mins.
From another server i heard that people getting green charog horn x 3 in 20 mins. also ive seen alot of random gems suddenly being linked asking for price check on world chat. just only now.

Drop rate still terrible. I’m almost 2 hrs now killing yellow caros and yet have to see an antenna drop.
Sounds good /20chars just bad luck maybe? Better then getting 3 within 20mins

40+ mins and i got 3 yellow caro antenae, prepare for a price drop on materials 
Maybe it’s finaly time to make that bow… i’m only missing the antennas.
We tested 320 HG and dropped 9 fragments immediately after entering (like 50% drop rate), seemed broken so reported it.
GM appeared shortly after and confirmed they were checking it.
10 mins of hunting after, we dropped one full cube but no more fragments, things seemed much more natural.
GM confirmed that things look OK and drops should be slightly higher, but they were keeping an eye on it.
So perhaps we were very lucky. Either way HG drops should be the new normal.
Excellent attention by IMC today, it was really nice to see.
The increase is somewhat good, a normal Orange mat was around 0,17% of droping without killing any monster before.
0,27% is around a DPK of 373.
