+1 Honestly good since I’m sick of hearing complaints about DPK. Doesn’t matter if it’s better or worse than it is now tomorrow. I just want IMC to listen more on skill balance changes and other end-game content suggestions.
My fencer was getting 5-6 mats in 70 mins last time I farmed so I really think a geared SR can really can easily average more than me. There’s even one time I’ve gotten 15 mats in 140 mins. However, there’s always a threshold when farming because the mobs spawn time won’t be able to keep up sometimes.
We knew this nerf was coming for well over a month now.
You will still be able to get around 2300-2400 off gear alone because the Superior Psychic Band nerf doesn’t seem to be included in this patch.

It can’t be worse, honestly. If it’s worse for you it’s because you farmed like a madman for 10+ hours a day just to get 1 damn drop.
Now you have the same chance if you farm 30 mins or 10 hours to get the drop, and noone can join inbetween and benefit from the kills you added onto the total DPK on the map while you start again the next day with the same low chance and wonder why the item never drops for you…
It’s confirmed drop rates of most popular materials/items are pretty decent. People said you can get around 3 315 materials per hour.

Blessing didn’t get nerfed. Pardoners abusing sadhu’s transmit prana to get 1100 spr for the duration their shop was open is what got nerfed.

I dont know why everbody is thinking the drop rates will be better. The drops are already %, they are just removing dpk.
For example, to get a lv315 material killing the first dpk mob in the map:
Today (assuming top-down exists): 1/500 = 0,2%, after 500 mobs killed, 500/500 = 100%
Tomorrow: 1/500 = 0,2% static
As i doubt the top-down system is correctly implemented i still think the RNG is clearer to the players and better than the currently bugged drop system…

You are not taking into account that the DPK is shared between the players farming in the same map. Your statement is only true if you are the only one farming in the entire map.
Yes, you are right. But the worst case in shared DPK is 1/500 (i.e. if someone snipes your dpk everytime), no?
Wrong, your 1/500 example its actually too nice and very far from reallity. Take the purple boxes from HG as an example, now those boxes had 20k dpk (or 20,000dpk), so imagine you farm for hours and hours just to lose your box to a random guy that just showed up in the map?, its that better for you?, yeah i dont think so. Same goes for orange weapon materials.

Now in all honestly i would love a DPK+RNG system, but if they make me choose between DPK or RNG, i would pick RNG anytime.
We’re lucky IMC actually bothered to increase the drop rates and didn’t just convert them.
DPK would be nice as a fallback if it were based on personal kills, if you’re an unlucky sob and can’t get a rare drop in 1k kills, you’re ensured you will get it by your thousand kill. As of right now it just kinda forces you to farm alot in condensed sets alone for the desired effect
