For those who don’t know, ‘Team Battle League’ is a PvP Arena where players queue and are teleported to a separate Colosseum-style map, where they fight against another team.
More info:
- Arena modes are 2v2 and 5v5
- The first team to win 3 rounds wins the match
- Time limit of roughly 5 minutes per round
- Ranking board that lists the Top 200
- Players are awarded with points that can be used to buy things from the PvP Shop (Currently only EXP Cards)
- Players are mostly-equalized to make the fight more balanced
- PvP matches can be freely spectated by other players
- Cross-server possible (May or may not be disabled for iToS)
Sounds like fun? Despite the class-balancing issues, it is! But it’s limited to a 1-Hour slot, every 4 Hours.
So, in the spirit of friendly fighting, I’d like to suggest that it be extended to be open for up to 24 hours. This would allow people to queue at any time (obviously) instead of only being able to attend 1 or 2 time-slots a day. It’s better to be able to take a break from PvE whenever you want, instead of having to wait for it. Alternatively, if the 24 hours isn’t feasible, then at least make it available every other hour (Example: PvP open from 3 PM to 4 PM, closed from 4 PM to 5 PM, open from 5 PM to 6 PM, etc). If necessary, players could have a limited number of 20 entries per day. Even after their runs are all used up, they can still watch other players play with the Spectate feature.
PvP in this game isn’t perfect, but it’s still fun. Thanks for the consideration.
