Rest In Peace DEX STAT

So KTOS combat change patch has been released and somehow the STATS have been changed, but for some reason the DEX stats is slowly getting nerf time by time.

The New DEX stat gives Eva, Crit Damage, and also Atk Speed which is new and to compensate the removal of Crit Rate, somehow it is fair for me as an Archer because of some 0 Cooldowns we have we can go Spam the skills faster even the less Crit rate we have. But the KTOS recent patch notes has been released and it really hits me hard and for some archers/swrodsman that has 0 CD skills knowing that they have put an 5 Overheat 10 sec Cooldowns for all the skills that has 0 Cooldown. It is really a BIG NERF! Imagine if you are a Scout C3 spamming Split Arrows, you have fast attack speed (yeah that’s great) but you will still wait for 10 sec after you cast 5 times of Split Arrow (really sucks!) how could kTOS imagining things like this? if that Attack Speed buff from dex gives archer the advantage then make it still viable, not this long overheating long cooldown skill.

Even when they try to find a way to solve spamming skills issues and useless AA builds, people are still here to complain.

Here’s the skill planner, you can see they put 5 overheat and 10sec Cooldown on all Skills that has no CD.

She asked because you’re talking like this is already carved in the stone. It’s at ktest right now, lots of things might (and i bet will change) before coming to Ktos live servers and itos.

You missed my point, everything you’ve written about is in k-TEST.

Heck, check the URL you linked, it even says tos-ktest.

These are changes to the TEST SERVER.

Proclaiming that it’s [released] is about as false as things can get.

Yes, it’s really to complain when you are getting a useless Rank just to get to C3 just for the Skill. You know what I am talking about, I have a Scout C3 which only relies on Split Arrows, and it is a Rank 6 skill so you can’t blame me.

And now your character will rely on Split Arrows, skills from lower ranks and AA. So who freaking care ?

It’s subject to change until finalized and then you can react to it in its final form. Until then…

I see where you coming from. Scout c3 is hardly decent without this 0 cd split shot. But please notice that split arrows have a pretty high % damage for a 5 overheat + “semi-aoe” + low cooldown skill.

I don’t think dex builds will die. I bet for most QS builds DEX will be focused, like the “machine-gun” musketeer. They even receive a good boost from dex while in kneeling mode.

Ppl are still discussing how the critical attack will be added at the dmg formula, I guess. If it is considered “raw physical damage” when landing crits, I can see a lot of ppl gearing up for critical rate and putting 70%+ points into DEX

I think you didn’t get my point, I know most of you only relies on Higher Rank imbalance damage skills.

Dont blame dex stat, scout3’s split arrow has high % damage, i like the way they chage 0s cd skill, so we dont waste others 0s cd skill or low cd skill

It solves this problem, every skill gonna be % based. zzz

Things in test server are still subjected to changes and balancing. Until changes are finalised then it will be best not to jump the gun.

People who want the Split Arrow playstyle, you dunce. How would you like if the damage on your class’s skills was increased but their cooldowns all became 10 minutes? Sounds fun to play, huh?

10s CD isn’t a big nerf if you have more than 2 skills.(we definitely do)

You can spam off 5 on a skill with 0CD, another 5 on another skill with 0CD, then you can fire off 1 other big skill from higher ranks and you’re first 0CD skill should be available again. If not, fire off another skill from higher ranks.

It’s only a nerf if you wanted to just use 1 skill forever and ever and ever on everything everywhere.

Seems a little 1 dimensional. My guess is that they want to make the game so that players use more than 1 skill to play.

You guys aren’t see the point. I not agree with the op who about dex, but to all people saying just fill with others skills isn’t that simple. People take scout 3 primary to clear dungeons, and you keep spamming split arrow like 90% of the time, if you haven’t played a scout 3 you don’t understand. It’s a play style, it’s not about damage, it’s about the time you save spamming split arrow, because you dont have to group the mob. If this change come at some time in the future, probably my clear time of the 170 dun will rise from 12 min to 20 or more, and probably everyone will reset their scout 3 unless imc do something about it reworking the other skills. SCOUT3=split arrow.

Edit: i just want to add i dont want another burst build, the archer tree already has a lot burst damage dealers. Putting cd on split arrow you only kill another way to play. Also it’s not like split arrow can clear earth tower or the library, it’s literlaly just for low level duns.
