Requesting improvement regarding Hunter skills and pet UI

I will apologize if this has already been talked about. However, this shouldn’t also be ignored due to the fact that this class will become nothing more but garbage in the Archer tree. Hunters has been one of the most overlooked classes in the Archer tree due to the poor pet AI. I have played Hunter and tested it out myself and confirmed the limits and capabilities of the Pet AI and certain skills but Coursing is the most annoying skill that immobilized the pet until the duration ends even if the target is already dead. Now i will go straight to the point and tell only the Pet AI and Coursing that needs improvement and of course the bug side.


Pet AI

Capabilities

  • Attack the nearest target from the skill caster. (Keyboard/Mouse/Controller)

  • Will not attack if the target is not within the pets range.

Bug

  • The pet will mix up skill functions if it is still performing a recently casted skill. (ex: Coursing + Rush Dog or Retrieve + Rush Dog)

Improvement

  • Will attack the aimed target.
  • Increase the pet range.
  • Pet will auto cancel the previous casted skill and perform the recent one.
  • Pet stamina will not deplete if it is sitting down or not moving or performing any skills.

Coursing

Capabilities

  • Holds the target for a duration. (Single)
  • Damage per second.
  • Increase critical hit chance.
  • Does not work on Bosses.

Bug

  • Pet will still be immobilized until the duration ends even if the target is already dead.

Improvement/Change

  • Duration will end once the target is dead.

i also have another suggestion, why not make skills almost the same one that sorcerers have like “attack ground” and “hold”, and/or add something like “call” that makes the pet stop everything it’s doing and returns to the owner.

Also Hunter class seems like a melee class since you have to get close to the enemy due to skill capabilities, heck even when your right next to the boss the skill still messes up because of summons.
