I’ve been sitting here before going to sleep watching the bots and Been using the “Report bot button” the same bots are still visible.
I believe your report bot button is a placebo and it actually doesn’t do anything.
I have 100mbps upload, I can upload these all day.
Well, it’s that, or the entire bot-hunting team consists of one man, working part-time and he’s clearly in over his head in bots.
But yeah, response to bot reports could be a good deal quicker…
I’m actually super worried about when it becomes f2p…
IMC needs to hire help.

lol you introduced report bot as an in-game function, yet it took this many evidence for you to even pay attention. You put so many restrictions on law abiding players to stop RMT and botters, yet you actually do nothing to ban them. These sellers on world chat are easy bans if you actually care about banning botters and RMT. What more do you actually need?! These people are right there, in your face, not even bothering keeping low key because GMs like you are doing NOTHING! nothing other than restricting us players with your crappy spawn rates and trade restrictions. for a game barely 2 weeks old, you ahve received mixed reviews on steam. Your iCBT had far better reviews than what you have right now when you actually got paid.
Man, those GM are amazing if you compare them with GMs from any other game. That’s just there is too many of them (botters) and they don’t have so much money (people) to check anyone right in one day. This is not Blizzard or any other big company. Still, they do amazing work for communication with players, one of the best in MMO right now. So don’t play the game if you don’t like.
It does work, just takes a bit more time than everyone (except for bots) would like to. They definitely need to hire a GM whose main responsibility would be dealing with bots, and he clearly has to be experienced with that.
You can techically report ANYONE as a bot. So theres a clear ability to abuse the report button by people reporting other people who are clearly not bots.
Theres a fair amount of investigation that needs to be done with each report. which is probably why it takes a long time
once you report them, expect a few days for them to get banned. once you report them, it puts them on IMC’s radar. which is the best we can do now.
Posts like this are what makes GMs complacent. “They are doing good, no need to be fixed. Dont play if you dont like” Then when playerbase starts to drop they are the first ones to leave because instead of wanting things to be fixed, they’d rather just leave.
You don’t need to be a big company to ban those RMT shouters. You dont need a couple of days investigate botters, a day or two is enough. I would care less if they didn’t severely hamper player’s convenience with trade restrictions. This isnt Ragnarok’s Novice army you can limit with level restrictions on things like megaphones. The freaking bots have higher level than most of the players, they have more money than actual players. Normal players are the most affected with these stupid restrictions. And they cant freaking ban these shouters.

Here’s a scary thought. What IF the bots are abusing the system, reporting everyone they see? Effectively creating a DOS for the bot reporting system?? Which would probably explain why GMs are having such a hard time banning bots.
I agree. Threre are group of bots which I reported days ago. I met them again in Greene Manor, today. They are 77036, USEA and TOONT. It’s really irritating. I know that it’s hard to catch all bots. But the fact that they let many bots to level to rank 5 just shows that they don’t have enough work force to do this task. And there method is not effective too. At this rate, bot population will probably overrun server soon (if it’s not already). And consider that this is still not f2p…
They should just filter and check all Cleric->Priest3->Chaplain with Arde Dagger and Cafrisun set. I’m pretty sure they will catch many many bots. Most bots I saw were using these equipment.
