Repetitive boring events + Incentive to keep creating new Steam Acc

Hello to you my fellow friends who still expect big changes (in a good way) for this game.

Today i woke up early and was wondering: " Let’s see the whole new bunch of nice events that IMC prepared for us. It’s the mid vacation period, so it should be something fun". What do we get? Some repetitive events, even one with the same general idea from months ago, and then again this kinda “cancer” Get Ahead Event …

You see, as a player who’s been aroung since “beta”, i have nothing against giving new players some advantages to lvl up faster here and there. However, whats been happening is ridiculous. Generally speaking, people dont give valor to things when they come too easy. Aside from the pratically non existent end game content, now we have this END GAME ENVIRONMENT:

  1. New players leaving DGs and Saalus because didnt get the optmized party to finish the run in the fastest way possible; Lost the count of number of times that i lost multiplies, cookies, tomes and other buffs;
  2. New players who dont know about their classes and cant even disabled Swift Step, shield and other unnecessary skills for the party;
    3.New players and instability of market: as i said before, when things come too easy they go the same way. ex:. Practonium can be bought for 8kk nowadays and the price keeps dropping. Note that im not trying to control the market. Im just saying that they dont even know the price of their gear and items. The idea that im trying to discuss here is the impulsive desire to sell for the lowest price possible, even losing millions that they have.

The only one who gains from this stuff? IMC of course. Why is that? TP of course. If new players have all these incentives, why not spending some tps to have more? Lol …
It saddens me that now this environment will be even more frequently found ( another up ahead Event). Oh, i almost forgot. The title. If we have nothing to do in this game, people usually create other alts; if we can manage to grind a 330 in two days with the event, why bother wasting time in your main account creating other characters ? Lol … The exp from the building doenst even worth it. If you wanna keep with this policy, just make it for new characters created in the predetermined time.

I guess this is it. All of it is just my humble opinion. Be nice and have a healthy discussion about it.

I just wish you could claim it on a new character rather than new account.
With all the free crap I could easily get higher level than my current main within a day.(I’m not even rank 5 because I get bored around 11x since i’ve yet to learn all the decent training spots) (I have about 5 or 6 10x.11x characters.)

I won’t but I can’t deny it does annoy me a little. (Going off how expensive 8x exp coupons are (around £5 an hour) it’s incredibly annoying how willing they are to give them out free to new players.)

We just get time limited crap that in the long run probably won’t be too beneficial, (Saying that not knowing what some of this stuff does it might be useful.)

They should follow the lead of other online games and do it from new characters rather than new accounts. People then make new characters (Maybe to play a class they wanted to play as a side character) in order to get rewards which they can transfer onto their main for a bonus.

Honestly they should hire 1 or 2 members of the community to go through past events of online games and look at what was and wasn’t successful and use that as a guide.

You really believe a considerable amount of new players are joining tos? Considering we started as 50k players and some returned after combat changes?

More likely new steam accounts for saalus/practo farmers as said above.

Nah, i’m just concerned this will cause an even worse experience to old players. We can just follow the logic: if ur in the end game content, ur supposed to at leats know the basics about the game. The way they are doing, this is not gonna happen and the game can turn into a mess.

Reminder this is a Necromancer game,
IMC is actively encouraging Necro/Sorc afk alts

buffing summons

keep creating new account level rewards monthly

remove sorc mana drain so you can just afk without having to macro pots

This is getting old tbh…

Instead of bad planned events (copy and paste from old ones with new names) it would be better to simple apply properly the patches instead of just throw in whatever is in view on the screen without testing and creating more issues than solutions.

But I don’t believe anymore in IMC for a job well done, never saw a company being so dirty in management of patches and handling issues like this one.

It was such a wonderful project.

Maybe we should had accepted a publisher handling the game when they asked us last year, at this point in time, even Aeria Games I would accept, as long as they keep tabs on the developer to fix things properly.

Dungeons yield the most xp, unless you plan on hanging around for more than an hour-per-day. Nobody grinds in the fields any more unless they’re trying to drop something. Dungeon XP is just too efficient now because the level window for xp was extended to ±30 levels.

Doesn’t matter, after 20 or 30 seconds of character inactivity the summon only stand there, the mob even ignore it and go for the char. I don’t remember now if it will only resume attack if you attack or cast a skill or have to move for a while.

But the Necro didn’t got that, and it should, both summon-types, same for Bokor, but Zombies are weak by default.

As a brand new player of three days ago, these events are not the correct route for the game.

Already being sad that I missed the “new player event” now i’m basically gaining no benefit from this upcoming event, it is harrowing. Please reconsider dates played, and time of account creation for some of these events.

EDIT: to add on top of these issues. None of these events are being advertised. If that was the case, I could have taken advantage of the “new player” event, but the only way anyone would have know about it is by visiting the webpage of a game that you aren’t playing yet.

i dont find this a bad thing, but on klai prac is as high as 20 mill right now i wish it was 8 mill.
and also the end game content is end game, end game is actualy level 600, so we are only half way

After you reach level 55 you don’t bother with dungeons until after level 110 from my current experience.
If you go to the mausoleum there’s an event you can trigger about every 15 minutes which lasts 5 minutes giving you a high spawn rate of 7k exp mobs. Dungeons are both a chore, limited to how many times you can do daily and actually less efficient in terms of EXP than doing that.

I guess you can do them for the money/cards, but as a source of leveling you can level a lot faster just going to mausoleum.
Then after you out level that i’m back to the boring, dungeon and Mission grind, which wouldn’t be as bad if it was 2 per day each. (As i each dungeon is 2 per day and each mission is 2 per day. (No token))

Just saw a video with the old spawn rate. (Back from Closed Beta)
All I can say is Fk IMC, FK IMC with a raging passion. The spawn rate was godly to the point where you could easily have multiple parties on a map each in their own area and still have monsters to spare. (As in it was practically kill 1 and another would spawn by the time you killed it. (This was before everyone could 1 shot them with blessing))

Note: Don’t be too offended by what i’m saying, it’s just one of the biggest complaints about this game is the spawn rate and I didn’t know it was actually better than this at one point. I do not harbour a grudge towards IMC, i just wanted to bitch.
There’s also the fact that it may just be the map that was nerfed rather than all maps, but it’s still annoying to think that at one point spawn rate might have actually been decent.

And now they even dedicated this event to whales. The end is near.

As far as I know, we only get patch notes the day of, so we are always in the dark. And you can’t go by what the other servers get because we are still waiting on patches they (jtos/ktos) received months ago.
