It is terrible, really.
Let’s start talking about the only pro of the class: Circling. This skill is the only one that actually give some debuff to the monsters, and the only one that in fact works for something… But falconers building entirely on AoEAR isn’t a support build, it isn’t even good for PvE, you have many other things, like Fletcher, who can grind way better than a falconer AoEAR.
Hovering Shoot: words can’t describe how useless this skill is. I often use it to walk fast, but guess what: the animation of calling the falcon, get grabbed by the falcon is enough slow to other players to simply walk and get in front of you while on your falcon, giving you no advantage at all. The skill doesn’t give you damage bonus, doesn’t last long, please delete this skill, really.
Pheasant: This is another AoE skill to combo with Circling right? Wrong. You falcon can only use “Circle” or “Pheasant”, this is hilarious, right? Nor this skill have a worse Base Damage than other skills like “Barbed Arrow” (who actually are a multi hit skill) it still have a high cooldown, but even if the cooldown of this skill was 0, you would not use it all the time, because it doesn’t deal damage at all. There are better skills than this one in other previous ranks.
Hovering: I can’t stand hovering, it is just bad. It is a Rank 6 Skill with 420 base damage, 10 seconds duration and 35 seconds cooldown, that only hits one monster a prevent you to use other better falcon skills such as “Circling”. This skill also knock enemies down, but only 1, and they need to stay on the area, and it is completely random who your falcon will attack.I will say it again: There are better skills than this one in other previous ranks.
Call and Roost: Ok, every time you use a skill, any falconer skill, your falcon ■■■■■■■ freaks out and flies away from you, that’s the deal. Every time you need to use Call to just call it back to user another useless skill, if you don’t want to use Call, then put a Roost on the floor, but don’t walk away from it, or it will disappear, now not only your falcon is confined to the area of the skills, you are confined to the Roost with your bird, congrats.
The Major problem with the class: It is not a support class as described. They tried to do something but the idea is so bad that is disgusting… The falcon is just a falcon, it is a pet with status, Attack, HP, Critical and ETC… But he doesn’t attack at all, his “Attack Points” doesn’t stack to the skills, you don’t have an “Confidence” to build between the raptor and the falconer! Can you please read wikipedia? Can you please give us a passive or an 0 cooldown skill to make the falcon attack the target that we are attacking? Can you put a reveal skill to the falconer? And the most important: make us train our falcons, make the falcon status modify the falconer skills, with more damage, more critical and such…
Please rework the class.
