Regarding Halloween npc

Is there a chance to leave the npc there until 29 nov where the halloween event actually expires. I’m asking this because i did not claim my gem abrasive before the maintenance because I assumed the points is gonna be remove on the 29th nov as stated in various post. Of course I mean where the instance is not accessible and the npc is there only to claim the rewards.

As you can read here, the event ended with the maintainence on 22.11.2016 as scheduled:

This is posted on the weekly maintenance page and there is no statement on the npc being removed. Though it did say the event ends with this maintenance but IMC did not state clearly the npc is going to be remove and there’s also another post saying all the stuff from the event will be deleted on december 29th (i assume it’s november 29th and an error on their part)

What’s so hard to understand from that post?.. It says that the event ends with the maintainence on the 22nd of November, meaning that the event-related additions are getting removed from the game [with the exceptions stated in the post that described the event; the one I linked in my first post].

Since the event consisted of basically the dungeon&reward-NPC and the instanced dungeon, both got removed from the game as stated. This also makes it impossible for you to redeem the abrasive as the event description featured the line that after the event ends, you will be unable to redeem your items from the NPC[check the 2nd quote on my first post again please].

This is a logical conclusion, in contrast to your conclusion that tries to derive a premature event closure from a completely different statement:

  • Remember that all Halloween Cubes and Pumpkin Candies obtained from the Halloween event will be deleted on November 29, 2016.

This statement has no syntactical or logical congruency with the issue of not being able to redeem your abrasive from the removed event NPC, so it’s irrational to mention this as proof for the accurateness of your claim against ITOS.

[UPDATED] Pumpkin Candies and Halloween Cubes will be deleted on December 29, 2016. (Superior Gem Abrasive, Jack-O-Lantern Hair Ornament and items obtained by opening Halloween Cubes will not be deleted.)

Ignore the December 29 as it’s a error i think. In this event only gem abrasive and hair ornament is redeemable and it will not be deleted though it did not state the point accumulated and neither did it say the npc will or will not be remove. But please take no offense as I started this post just asking “if” I can claim the reward before 29th November and I also clearly understands that I might failed to comprehend what IMC tries to tell us players but they could do a better job at trying to do so.
