Real name of the game: Tree of no Swordsman

Already tested. Its very funny that a skill that gives u +300 block or even +1000 block (like the Crossguard of Highlander) for a short period of time, cant defend u against a magic attack even if is only 100 of damage.

I tought this game was Tree of Monks, because I saw monks everywhere, for real, everybody want to be a monk, be a priest-monk, krivis-monk, or diev-monk: monks everywhere, and most part is only because the blast energy skill, is not even because they really like the philosophy or because other pvp qualities.

BUT if you see at the game mecanics itself, you see the game is everything to make the life of swordsman harder on PVP.

Wisards can defend theyselfs easilly from physical attacks, be with traps or shields, that NOT ONLY BLOCK your attack, as have the power to reflect the attack or cause you some effect, as freeze. Can attack from distance.
Then when you think Wisards have low HP, the game make the inverse, and they can have high HP. without lose too much on power.

Clerics have the Safe Zone, one of the few manner of defend magic (Yes, wisards are like “Gods” with the unblockable magic), and also have Heal. That’s ok. Except that a Right level Cleric not only is a support, but can make much more damage or trouble in a battle pvp just with safe zone and others skills of attack, than other swordsman types.
I have a Cleric too, I know how this works.

Archers: low hp, but high DPS. (Is what I see on dungeons, they are who die more, but who cause more damage without interruptions). Can easilly kill a swordsman since can attack from distance and cause Stun, cause bleeding and who knows what else. They can lock the target on you, or at least the direction, while you have trouble to be effective on hit with the skill.

You can say about corsair be usefull because the Chain, as a SUPPORT.
Cataph because the Empaler Skill to move the enemy to where you want, more or less support.
Or Dragoon that can throw the Spear very far to hit the enemy, and have to run to catch the spear again.
But I really need go to these classes to have some a little part on the battle? There is nothing swordsman can do besides use a Sage Walll Shield and run from magicians?
Because not even the Fencer with the most hight evasion can defend this at all.

On PVE the history is pretty different. As the cleric have much more trouble to earn exp, but I’m talking about PVP.

From where I see/saw in Tree of Savior:

Wisards: Gods.
Clerics/Archers types: Usefull Warriors.
Swordsman: Maybe Tank, but not against magic.

Nevermind. Even if Crossguard had ANY use, it just dont work when I need it (Yes, after some uses, when I press the key the character just dont use the skill). I think this can be my pc or is only the high ping. Well, so whatever.

No, the real game name is TREE OF MAGIC

wizard > cleric > archer > sword man in pvp
there 's no way to defense against magic but physical attack can block or miss. Also p.def gain from stat and equipment is much higher than m.def

magic is ranged, covers massive areas, does massive damage. i think they need to change most -or all- skills to work like ice pike. fire in a single direction, instead of covering the whole field at once.

try to go to battle league where it’s always 2v2 or 5v5. Archer will 1 shot you from where you can even see as a sword man.

1v1 means nothing, there 's no ranking for 1v1

bitches please. no1 cares if ur medicore swordsmans suck at pvp. in all honestly swordman is not the best and has only 2 viable ways to approach things what comes to pvp. but so what? make one of those 2 things core of ur build and accept the fact that ur role is not to do imbar@pe dps but to tank and initiate fights. this is like hearing moba player cry that hes tank hero cant carry

edit: building swordman is just 100x harder than building other classes and therefore most build are trash in pvp. there is sadly not much midle ground for swordman like there is for other classes, but in the end, middlegrounds sucks just as much when faced with minmax

Swordwhut? Is it good? I know Peltasta (meat shield) tree and few variations (one or 2 builds that works)… but have no idea whats Swordman is (dps lol whuts that?). Anyways, maybe one day they rebalance classes, breaking almost all C1 pelt swordman out there…

I think archers suck more than melee.
No hp, no defense, lower dps, no cc, less debuff/buff.

The only advantage playing archers is you are ranged.
Sadly that range is equal to magic.

Give us items like GTB in ro. Only kidding.

Seriously, the magic attacks in this game are totally overpowered. You dont have to pvp to feel it, you can see it in Pve, because the magic monsters are the only whose do true damage. You cant dodge them, and there is no effective gear against them.

IMC should take care of this, maybe they can implement gear reducing magical damage by some portion, say, this pants give you 15% magical damage reduction, or maybe elemental reduction.

but archer have tools to easy counter melee classes such as full draw and heavy shot

This game isn’t 1v1 oriented.
Sorry this isn’t Street Fighter.

The real pvp are GVG and battle league.
In this scenario you will get rapped as fast as you breath.

If you are talking about GVG, melee and arrows stand no chance.
It is the world full of unblockable/unavoidable powerful magic.

50vs50, yah you better hide behind your cleric or full CON mages.

Thats the point.
If they are working in rank 8 so its supposed they will no longer balance the early ranks

All of us Swordsmen are either masochists, waiting on the future balance, or both. I fall under both it seems. I’m really hoping they pump out some fixes soon because this is a huge design flaw to have an entire branch out DPSed by every other tree. -_-
