Sorien tried that and IMC banned him for notifying them of the exploits in the game. He wanted to help IMC fix the game last year, but IMC spat at his offer.
He then created Hook6-.4 to make himself money by exploiting all he found.
He was smart.

He abused the bugs wanting IMC to talk with him. He got insta-banned by abusing them, as stated in the rules.
It’s like trying to rob a bank to show that the door is broken. You don’t need to try to steal the money to report a problem, right?
I asked him if this ever happened but we didn’t go into details. Afaik the only time he posted a possible bug before maintenance the Staffs thanked him and it was fixed before maintenance was over. I don’t recall any other fix deleted by the Staff.
Could you tell which one so and what you recall? You know, people can know what you’re talking about? Otherwise one can tell you’re making that up.
Nice job whiterabbiting IMC’s actions.
Too bad IMC did make the situation worse that way.

Sorien himself told here on forums in those deleted threads that he expected devs to contact him about hack/exploit. I’m personally neutral about this, if you really have good intentions you just report them, you don’t abuse bugs to the point you got banned for then ragequit.
There are better ways to get attention into issues if you really want to.
Related and not made up they deleted it you’d have to ask him what it was because I can’t remember -exactly- what it was just that it happened off the top of my head. I’m getting a little old please forgive me.

They didn’t delete everything, only the rant. The card fix is still up which is the topic you linked.
Mind you saying how? Honestly, if I know that something isn’t true or can spread misinformation, do you want me to keep quiet? What’s your “proper way of dealing with it”?
By not having a 100 post argument about bugs a couple days before patch day?

So you’d just leave people spreading misinformation even though you know it will affect other people and these other people may talk to others and make a mess simply because something that may not even exist?
But like look at what just happened you sat there and had this long winded debate with me that totally just blew up in your face because of that patch. It just absolutely made you and IMC look a fool because your whole argument sides on things being not true then it instantly became true. Look at that Excrulon rant and the fact that two developers are gone. I guess they are a bunch of liars too making false claims in your world or something.
If you had taken my bet you’d have to be making a post right now while deleting your characters you know that? I purposely said that knowing without a doubt that IMC was going to botch something this patch and you did too which is why you didn’t make the bet.

Also I never disagreed with you that IMC could do a patch that contains bug. Where did you came up with that?
But now let me ask again:
If you know two one more people are lying about some specific thing you know it isn’t true, what would you do?
Are you the type that stays quiet to protect yourself or are you the type that prevents the two people from messing up with others for the sake of fun?
