That would be pretty boring. No more buffers please, it’s already full enough of those. Just looking at Oracle,Kabbalist,Krivis and Taoist being not so useful/less well recieved, there’d be no meaning in making another 08/15 buffer out of this pretty unique Class. Unique Classes should be the focus of TOS and those unique Classes should be better than the 08/15 Classes that every MMORPG has.

I think Sheperd will become a golden crested Class with the focus on the dog and possibly sheep,too. The sheep could be used to provide e.g. milk and wool for additional ingame features to come (we already have fishing system and farming system implemented, maybe there will be a cooking and tailoring system coming,too)
and count as summons to benefit from your SPR.

We get more buffers? Thauma, Enchanter, priest, chaplain, oracle, archer, kabbalist, etc… then now new buffers? If we get no buff slot increase in r9 then what a joke this is.

At least we will need krivis 3 now with all the buffs. Max your daino bois.

Corsair is on life support now though. Will he become a bull fighter or a wrestler? find out on daily imc happenings.

I don’t want this [insert class here] to have useless skills but I hope they will do the worst design ever created for the next Archer classes :upside_down_face:.

I hope that puppeteer either gets to control many puppets, or one giant mecha puppet that can be ridden.
Mechas fit in any scenario.

Karakuri Ningyou forever:

There were Karakuri Ningyou able of moving around and some even were able to shoot arrows with a bow (would be pretty cool to have some of those moving around the battlefield, firing arrows at the monsters and pretty much Archerlike).

Also, god bless new mechanics where you have to run after the puppets and have to wind them up once their springs have run out of energy :smiley:

Maybe Taoist C2 will be able to summon spiritual animals like foxes and stuff, also they might be able to use paper dolls (as said in the Rank 8 Lore post by the devs)

Shepherd and Pied Piper theories sound way too similar.

Pied Piper being able to gather mobs. Then Shepherd being able to gather mobs.

It honestly sounds like two classes being released at the same time for two different trees that perform almost the same function. I hope we’re overlooking something between these two because that would be super boring, and if two can do it then it doesn’t really give either of them any benefits for a party. Everyone will be able to do everything if classes are too similar like this.

Hopefully we’re missing something in our guesswork and there is much more that differentiates the two as unique rather than performing the same functions in a party.

I really hope they drop the whole pied piper thingy. As a hunter falconer I’m really compelled in taking pied piper. But if it behaves as its name suggest. It would be overlaping growling aswell. I just wish it to be more of a normal bard or something. Or that the gathering mobs thingy is not its main and only gimmick.

Either of them could be big summoners or they could go with the RO’s route and have bard/dancer roles for the piper

there also seems to be some we dont know! like Toras for swordsman? its wearing a doomfist lol so a punching class for swordman?

oh wait… there missing alot so maybe shepherd wasnt scrapped

I think Taoist should be able to summon Jiangshi
Maybe an attribute for bokor, I don’t know if Taoist has synergy with Bokor though

Jiangshi is a zombie/vampire/ghost so it relates to bokor zombies
And it says dropping coins will make jiangshi count the coins, similar to how tet mamak la makes you throw a monkey skull to lure zombies

but it also says toist talismans are used to stop jiangshis so i dount it will ever be a part of taoist

but maybe it will be able to summon something

it includes umbanda (macumbeiro) and daoism ( taoist) as having methods of summoning supernatural things. i doubt it will be a part of taoist given the current skillset. i really dont care what class a summon skill goes to i just want another summon class in the game lol

I think Shepherd may function like natural progression for Druid, being “force of nature” with some “moe factor” as a bonus (we’re looking at you lawsi :slightly_smiling_face:)
