Yeah, I was so hype after that announcement, I planned a full october month of gaming and delayed a few project to enjoy the update. I’m sure that I wasnt the only one

You’re not the only one. I’m super hyped when to know r8+ hidden r6 class released but NOT after looking the issues.
A bit dissapointed but yeah, it happens not just in this game so just let it flow.
Maybe what IMC means was End of September 2019. Don’t just blame them for all their words guys.
Joke aside, at least I hope when rank 8 come, we could be promised less bug. or else. the waiting would be a big waste.
I asked GM Mango what ‘soon’ means whether its ‘soon’ as in theres already a released date or ‘soon’ as in theyre working on refining it so no release date yet. He answered with “I’m sorry I cannot give an exact date”.
so there you go, best bet is mid-late october

IMO what happend is, theoricaly their work calendar was set to release the rank8 at end of septembre.
But as usual in the video game industrie many things delayed their calendar, new bugs, new priorities etc, and there you go.
This is a common issue in the industrie, and this is why most of the devs don’t say anything about release dates anymore (aside from “soon”). And if they do beleave me that the margin is huge like 50% huge so R8 would have been annonced november, or simply the game is already done.
regardless what is the set date will be, I’m fine with waiting.
my work is similar like this and I never give an exact date because I know that if we give exact date but turns out it isn’t finished yet or turns out delayed, people will yell at me.
I will bet this will be… around November in iTos but eh… I’m more looking forward to see what bugs are fixed and what classes are nerfed/buffed.

Are we gonna have rank 8 the 11 October ? Not even a single precise info was given after this super last week disapointing maintenance ! Keep you word IMC and bring the new update !

As an opinion though, my hunch is sometime early to mid November. Why? Because that’s when the money starts flowing in extra for most of us that have jobs. During that time as well, people are more prone to spending. If purely on a marketing and profit-making stand point, this would be logical.
The thing is, people can deal with delays.
But the main issue that imc has is communication.
For example, when is the framerate issue going to be fixed? give a date and deliver even if it takes them 8 months, alteast people know what is going on.
Same goes for rank 8, we are in dire need for new content, and all you get is soon. Well soon can be 1 year. It gives you a uncertain feel that isn’t great at all.
If you got a delay and there are issue’s, report it towards the players. that there are translation issue’s and it will be delayed towards januari 1.
It’s the communication is that lacking, and that is what makes people angry. Because they have no clue if they play a dead game that is soon going down or a game that has some life left into it. If you say nothing people will just leave and assume the worst.
Why do you even defend IMC their communication is shiet, theirs servers are shiets its laggy buggy anyway R8 will be full of bugs with or without waiting 1 or 2 month more they are incompetent.
I’m just fu c k ing bored they announced R8 for september and they now delay it for no valid reason with no communication about wtf they are doing. A lot of players are waiting them till they announced it.
And btw this thread was made in October 5 the tittle of this thread “Rank 8 end of september” Was just to say that we kinda got scamed by IMC
imc is still stuggling to fix those bugs found in ktos around r8 classes…
they probably wont bring r8 over until they fix the more urgent ones…
or… they r gonna be forced to bring it over with these bugs when player base drops too low here.
only way to get r8 here is if ppl stop spending cash and stay connected less online lol.
