I noticed that Barrage doing more damage then Spiral Arrow, if you will use it close enough to enemy (for all 3 shots hit the target).
B-b-but this Bounce shot is… fully crap! It may bounce to a random number of targets between 1 and 6, instead of always 6.

Well, then you don’t know how to use Barrage, kid. Barrage makes 3 shots in a radius, and if you stay close to enemy, all 3 shots inflict damage to this ONE enemy. In PvP it’s harder to do, then just click on Spiral Arrow. But with slowly bosses it makes great damage, much more then spiral arrow.

lvl 15 spiral arrow? Amazing.
How can you compare lvl 15 attribute of barrage and lvl 65 attribute of spiral arrow? Of course spiral arrow will deal more damage in this case.

okay okay guys stop now, i have a better solution, feint + barrage deal more damage than any of those since you get 10 hits

I do not understand why you’re trying to insult and humiliate me. If your self-esteem prevents you to communicate adequately, please leave forum.
My 5 lv spiral arrow deal less damage then 15 lv barrage. I just say what I see every day.
But topic even not about it. It’s about useles and unfair bounce shot!
Barrage has 5 hits, not 3. (of course depends on your positioning)
with feint then 10 hits
while Spiral Arrow has always 6 hits (Lvl5)
oh well. the thread title is bounce shot

Or… shocker… You could use both skills. Fire off both charges of spiral arrow AND 3 charges of barrages. I know, crazy and profound, right?
Also, if you feel that bounce shot is terrible, then you’re clearly not utilizing it correctly. It’s not designed for single targets, it’s designed for crowds. EG: fire off 3 rounds of barrage then fire off your two rounds of bounce shot. Congratz your group of mobs is incinerated, of if you’re in a dungeon, then congratz you just did tons of damage.
refer to this as a mini guide, you’ll get 5 points leftover to do as you wish.
but it never hits all 6 targets. It may be 2 or 3 targets, very rarely that 3+ targets. That’s why i’m salty
Ironic to say he doesn’t know anything about the ranger class, when if you knew anything about the ranger class, then you’d know it’d be impossible for him to have qualms about bounce shot if he was only ranger c1; considering both bounce shot and spiral arrow unlock simultaneously upon becoming a ranger c3.
But it actually does hit all 6, just make sure the targets are bunch up or use it in dungeons since 3 charges of barrage are gonna nuke any non-dungeon and/or field mobs.
yes, if I use it on bunch of 3 mobs, only 2 of them taking damage. If 4 mobs, then only 2 or rarely 3 mobs. But once on 10-20 uses this skill really deal damage to all bunch.
