I said this many times and people bashed me for it.
Steady Aim was insanely strong with 45% damage and 60% uptime, but they nerfed it a bit too much. It was a must for every missile build (not sapper/wugushi) and now it’s only decent for few builds.
It’s a skill to be used with Musketeer for an example: you dish ur burst while Steady Aim is active then wait for cooldowns. But people insist to use it with Fletcher, giving the most common example.
20% bonus at 40% uptime = 8% average bonus. This is what you get for spending 3 ranks in Ranger with a consistent DPS build.
My opinion is they should revert partially the damage bonus, to something like 2% per level instead of 1% (total 35% bonus max level). Keep the 10s duration so it reinforces the intended use and not a must for anyone.
