Queues are terrible

Does anyone else find it ironic that mission queues often queue you up with someone 15 levels higher than you. But wait! There’s more. Because you’re in a higher level dungeon not only can the bosses kill you in 1-2 hits, you also lose exp due to oddly designed exp tables!!

^ Does that even make sense…

At the lower levels, I don’t care so much since it’s manageable. But when I’m in a Lv240 queue with my Lv225, I might as well start a campfire and type this thread.

Of course the easy fix would be to set missions to AVERAGE level rather than highest level character. This would allow a 15 level span but only a 7-8 level difference at most between player and boss. But hey, quality of gameplay is not a concern for IMC is it.

That’s because there are fewer players.

The queue design is really odd altogether. The missions don’t drive any unique objective that require teamwork. It’s just 4 bosses one after another. If the goal was just to kill things, it would be no different from a typical farming map. There’s nothing interesting (ie. capture the flag, protect the mark, king of the hill). Tons of mini games are possible.

Though this isn’t to say the players aren’t to blame either. Hell if given the option between a 20 minute mini game and kill 4 bosses, I would definitely take the latter. It’s just that siaulai is too short and too easy, discarding any other potential missions.

@FateTurns: Are you queue-ing for dungeons or missions? I find missions are pretty good in queue time. Dungeons are just terrible now. Rush everything after level 90. It’s so much easier to just go for loot.

y arde rush lol… y not peta rush?

nope. having 15levels gap lessen the queue time but topnotch.
and nope. you want an average difficulty according to party level? not gonna happen. it defeats the purpose of the game and its challenge, i mean… common man, most boss/enemy attacks here can be dodge (except magics, well, BOSS DON’T DO BASIC MAGICAL ATKS, THEY DO AOE SPELLS).

Because if you gave me the option between a 5x 1 dollar bills and 1x 5 dollar bills, you take the smaller one. Arde and peta give the same amount of money. Arde is roughly 5% and Peta 1%. (It’s also cheaper to reroll the arde cube isn’t it? I forgot now.) About 8-10 Ardes will comfortably buy you a peta. But selling the Peta is hard. Who has 5m on hand in tradable talt? However, I can easily give away 1-2 ardes for an item, and my buyer can easily sell 1-2 ardes on board in 24 hours and have silver.

Hmm that kind of make sense XD… but it really depends on supply and demand XD

You play this game for a challenge…? You do realize why there are so many bots in an MMO right? Because it’s not challenging. It’s too easy to write a bot for this game.

If IMC wanted us to be “Challenged” by higher level monsters, fine. GIVES US MORE EXP FOR IT. I would be down for a 15 level gap, maybe even a 30 level gap, if for each level difference I gain 1% more exp. But why nerf the exp, then make it harder? That’s not a challenge, that’s a waste of time.
