Queue on Dungeons when your lv is way higher than the Dg lv

I am going to use me as example:

I am currently at level 139 and it is very hard for me to be able to enter dungeon level 115 at fedimian suburbs. I am not interested on exp, I simply want a Ledas Shield badly.

Most of the times when it reaches the 5 people on queue I do not enter, and when it reaches 6, then the previous 5 enter and I remain in the queue because of my level.

The bad thing is that you can’t do rush runs on this dungeons because apparently you need to kill all monsters to open the gates.

Why is it necessary to have a level close to the dungeons recommended level to be able to queue for it?

I am not talking about mercenary post, which makes sense to have this system since the bosses gets stronger depending on the highest level of the player in party.

I am not even playing on this character lv 139 anymore because I do not want to get more levels to make it even harder to find a party via search for party.

I play on Silute Server.

Can I expect something from this? I can’t be the only one being “harmed” by this.

So you will never level up any character if you think so, it will be the same forever.
Or you level this 139 and will land in this dungeon (which already have you will end up taking the Otrava Shield DG 217 ) or level up another character get 115 and live in this dungeon without leveling, just farm to get the Leda’s, and remembering that none of these shields are tradable ( Ridiculous )

Why don’t you solo it instead, you don’t need to wait and can go faster than waiting for a group, in all honesty, i wish all the dungeons required you to kill everything in it, that way, people like you don’t ruin who want the EXP from it to level.

I can’t solo dg 115 with my Cleric 2 - Krivis 3 lv 139.

I don’t know why you can’t, i did on my Sadhu the Lv90 dun when i was around 100 and the 115 around 125, (Cleric C2 > Krivis C1 > Sadhu (Dun 115)).

You got healing and damage dealer skills like Cure and Zaibas, also heal cause damage.

Let’s imagine I could solo it and get my shield.

This would be great, I would be very happy, but then some day in a near future a full support character decides he wants a ledas shield too, but he trully cannot solo the dungeon.

The main point here is not to make me get what I want, the point is to create a solution for people who has a similar situation than mine.

“full support” why the hell they will need Leda’s?

Ok, let me try to make a better example, my bad:

Lets say an archer full str, with very low life pool, and no dodge.

I really don’t think it will be able to solo the dungeon 115.

Or even better, just imagine there is a class that cannot solo the dg 115 but needs the ledas shield.

Even with CON, he will have a hard time doing it, i did on my Wugushi, and it was hell, i had to call a friend Lv 26x to help me clear the dungeon.

Do a full run and get done with it, or just call a high level friend to run you through it, either way, it is no reason to ruin runs from other people like i see in some reports in the forum.

I don’t see how removing the “only characters with lv close to the dungeon lv can queue for that dungeon” can ruin any experience for other people.

I see it the other way around.

Let me try to explain it better:

Real Scenario:

  • 5 people on search for party on dungeon 115.
  • 1 of the 5 people is a lv 160, so the 5 people remains in the queue
  • these 5 people stay on queue for 30 minutes
  • a new character joins the queue
  • the character lv 160 remains in the queue and the 4 people enter the dungeon with the new guy who has just arrived.

Ideal Scenario:

  • 5 people on search for party on dungeon 115.
  • 1 of the 5 people is a lv 160
  • The 5 people enter the dungeon with a lv 160 player
  • this way would make the party have a stronger party member to help kill all monsters in the dungeon.

It doesn’t work like that. High lvl people are no longer a problem now, they don’t take all the xp like before. People at lvl ~ 115 will be able to xp freely.

Dunno if it works with created groups, but with queue system I had no problem to xp with higher lvls, they were getting like… 10 xp per mob :joy:.

Anyway this shield is quiet hard to drop, take an Arde Dagger and just forget it.

The issue here is not the Lv difference, it is the behavior, a high Lv player is not in the mood to do a full run in a low Lv dungeon and will rush to the end leaving the rest behind and killing the boss.

In all honesty, i think it shouldn’t allow the players of the dungeon Lv range be paired with higher Lvs because of that, if a high Lv player only want do a rush, he either make a pre-made party or solo it.

But don’t you have to kill every mob for lvl 115 dungeon ?

In the 115 yes, but not the others.

more options is always better than more restrictions…

If you refer to what i said about all dun should be like 115, yeah, but in some way it could be worked, after a certain Lv the players can do rush on them, and the queue can’t put up too much Lv difference like it is actually, 20 Lvs is too much, well, they did because there is barely any people to do missions/dun of certain Lvs this past 2 weeks.

Make these untradeable dungeon drops tradeable through team storage. Problem solved. This way if you get it and dont need it, you could decide to make another character and use it on that one. Someone convince IMC.

This doesnt necessarily help your situation though… maybe problem not solved.
