Questions about my stat points

I’m currently a lvl 189 Falconer. A2-R3-Falconer-Cannoneer is the build I’m going for. My stat distribution is 2:1 str dex and 1 con for every 10 lvls. My stats right now is roughly around these values:

Str 232
Con 28
Dex 82

Those are without equips. I did that on the stat simulator at tosbase since I’m not online right now. I’ve placed an additional 2 points in Con so that at lvl 280, I’ve already placed a total of 30 points in Con but I’m starting to feel that it’s a little bit low for Con.

My questions are these:

  1. Should I keep my 2:1 str dex distribution until lvl 280? Because I want to put more points into con now and stop putting points in dex anymore.

  2. At what value should my dex be to still crit every now and then at lvl 280?

  3. If you would answer “put dex until — only”. Is that value with equips or no equips?

  4. If I will ignore dex completely after I reached the dex you suggested in question 3, what would be a good distribution for str and con? Is 2:1 str con good or 3:1 str con?

  5. Should I wear plate or leather?

Sorry for my long post. I’ve been doing my research but I still haven’t found an answer to my questions. Thanks for those who will answer.

that is why blindly following stat distribution ratios someone else came up with is bad.

if you feel like you need more Con - raise it.
if you feel you dont need Dex for now - dont raise it.

it is that simple.

The distribution is made and decided by myself only. I didn’t follow any other guide. I am the kind of person which does not settle with “put points on it if you think you need it”. I am asking for values. I want to plan ahead.

If you have a party, Con may not be that important because someone may tank or CC for you.

However, if you are a lone wolf, Con is a must, atleast 40. After lv200, there are lots of Elite mob that deal 2000-4000 dmg per hit. With your low Dex and Con, you may have to sit at the bonfire very often.

I will just say that con is important, regardless of whether you have a party or not.

You want at least 10k HP, and even then, you can still die in 2 hits, because there are mobs that hits you for up to 7k.
