Question regarding Hunter C1 Skill Allocation

Currently making an alt A2 > Hunter1 > Wugu3 > Falconer1 build just for the Theme… Most of the things i read around is kinda outdated… would very much appreciate any input from senior Hunters.

Since snatching can synergize with Gu Pot, i guess it wont be such a bad combination. What im confused about is where to put the skill points .

Coursing : Some people at the reddit / forum said about taking only 1 into this since using other pet skills during coursing duration will bug the pet… Does this still happen?

Pointing : Good way (after Hounding) to unstuck the companion? (since im using the penguin, does ride and unride also unbug the companion?

Snatching : 5 for flying bosses

Rush Dog : 5 (does the damage fall off hard?)

Praise : Is this skill any good beside the Movement attribute?

Important to ask, with the penguin being mountable and the /comeon command , are all the pet bug/freeze still such a fatal issue ? I already took the Companion First Aid attribute also before reading more indepth about Hunter bugs :frowning:

At the moment, I already took :
Coursing 2
Snatching 1
Rush Dog 4
I think i took the wrong decision by taking 4 Rush Dog, since the damage will probably fall off hard later? Is this build salvageable?

I gave my event reward leaf armband to this char, so there’s no way i would delete it… xD

For Hunter C1 only

Coursing 5
Snatching 5
Praise 0~1
Rush Dog 1~5
Pointing 0~1

I’d like to point that this still is going on. However /comeon allows you to cancel any hunter skill, so now we’ve got a tool to work around that.

^I’d suggest doing this consistently before casting another skill after coursing. There’s also a state where your pet stops following you and auto attacking and it seems mostly preventable by doing so. I personally have the entire /comeon command assigned to my middle mouse button. lol

I don’t think a few points in Rush Dog is bad. You should have enough points to make your other skills work as well.

I see… thanks guys for your inputs.
