Yeah, and its not like forums are always ablaze gw2 style each time they decide to break a class on purpose and turn a different one OP.
It was blizzard with word of warcraft that introduced this ****fest first. In their opinion it entertains people when they have to make alts because their main has been wrecked.
Oh yes the jolly good times at the start of wrath of the lich king. The joy of playing any form of pvp with paladins taking on 10 people at a time and wrecking everyone without breaking a sweat, and refusing to balance for 3 months straight.
Oh the joys of GuildWars 2’s recent expansion with DragonHunter’s oneshot traps or bunker builds which made their tournament and the entire company the laughingstock of the gaming world.
Oh the thrills of the original Diablo 2 where the first complete wrecking of characters happened after a balancing patch, making half of the playerbase leave and turning blizzard’s forums into a quagmire for months…
Yeah, lets just aim for bad publicity and constant flaming on the forums because its the norm set by some larger companies.
Oh we are not a large company housing millions of players? Well who cares, im sure its rewarding as hell to screw up your players, making them start over.
Why?
Because as it has been suggested: Its the norm.
