I know hunter is a beast at PvP cuz eternal cc…what i want to know about him is…he’s good at GvG? The pet is kinda weak and stupid thanks to this poor IA but still can deal massive damage. I wanna lvl up a hunter to GvG and pick musk at end game but need to know if it’s gonna work well or will suck.
Build
In 5 v 5 There’s a handful of scenarios where you would actual benefit the team. From my past experience in GvG there’s a lot of psychoninos using raise, couple that with low fps and you have a very very low chance of doing anything. I’d say that you’d rely more on the musketeer rather than the hunter.

sure, if your skill actually lands it is.

with the AoE madness going on, not really.
I do understand that but see…as an archer and scout…i’m staying far away from the front line…i’ll aim most for pick off killing mages away from the group and melee coming closer. The hunter is not the primary class i only want to know if i can use this build or hunter will be of no use.
Well. There’s this one man I’ve seen in silute top 1 in 2 v 2 PvP that has a build like yours or extremly similar. Not seen many archers in top 10 5v5 though.
If you plan in sneaking around picking targets one by one that could work, not sure if you’ve been in GvG lately, but in my experience it hasn’t happened, it was more like they caught us all in their CC, killed us all and then camped the respawn. 10 seconds of immunity mean nothing with constant CC raining around.
With this going on it’s hard for your pet to remain functional, so you’d more than likely would use scout + musketeer and if the wind allows it. your pet.
