Quarrel ,Sapper or ,rogue c3

i want to make a trapper build but i cant decide which one is more fun

i could either get c3 quarrel and c3 sapper

for max caltrop , pavise, and wire trap but 0 capture

or i could go c1 quarrel c2 sapper c3 rogue

for max capture but no wire trap and sad crappy caltrops
(and 5 extra points that i dont want to put in anything)

or i could go c1 quarrel c3 sapper and c2 rogue

for some capture and wire trap but sad crappy caltrops
(and 5 extra points that i dont want to put in anything)

purely for pve , not pvp

its up to you to find out which class you think is fun, as for quarrel get it to c3 or dont take it at all.

If it’s only for PvE running shot from QS3 is really good. Caltrops and other skills are not really PvE oriented. You can push enemies in your Caltrops thx to Deploy Pavise but it doesn’t deal a lot of damages and it is not working correctly. Pavise can be cool with your Sapper to push enemies into your traps, I’m sure it could work even in PvP.

Since he didn’t understand what kind of build you wanted to do. You can take C1 alone because it will help you a lot for your Sapper job. I think Archer C2 is better for your first advancement because of Kneeling Shot. If you only play for PvE you can lure enemies into your traps just by waiting them on a spot with your Kneeling Shot

Rogue is more for PvP than PvE but why not, I think Fletcher is better.

But OFC if you want to do the most powerful build for PvE go QS3 A2 and whatever your want.

That guy is correct, because quarrel c1/2 is indeed a waste.

As for which class to pick, you should go qs3 if you pick it. Likewise go sapper2 if you pick it.

I wouldn’t really recommend picking both in 1 build tho, cause then you will be missing out on either a2 or r7 class.

It is not a waste just because Running Shot is on C3 zzz. Your mind is stuck in best known builds mate.

I’m not stuck on best build actually. It’s funny cos a2qs3 isn’t even the best build for pve, so you’re already wrong there.

It’s funny cos you don’t read what people say. And what you recommend is off topic, the OP wants to do a trap build. Only A2 is relevant but still not the best for what he wants to do.

… What is the point in R7 for a trap build ???

How’s that off-topic? He wants to go a-qs-sap3-rogue2 in one of his build, and I told him he should drop qs1 and stick with sapper2 instead.

You can get sapper 3 at rank5 (Assuming you take sapper3 instead of sapper2). Whether or not you take R7 doesn’t impede the sapper (or trapper, whatever you wanna call it) build in any way.
