The game is going to come out soon and I still can’t decide if I want to go A2 -> QS3 -> F1 -> Musketeer or A2 -> R3 -> F1 -> Musketeer.
I guess what I am looking for is which class combination is better in the long run (specifically for PVE)?
or maybe which class plays better depending on playstyle.

but you will need a good ping(30-80) to be effective as QS

I’d stick with A1 and rush QS 3, A2 isn’t that useful for leveling

Is the QS3 just plain better than R3 in both PVE/PVP format?
Why waste Points on A2? There are way better classes. Here is my Build.
People usualy take Archer 2 for 100% uptime on swfitstep (rank 10)
QS3 and R3 are not better one or another - it is different builds. You should pick whenever you like more. Also R3 is more tolerant to ping.
I’d say it is
A1 -> QS3 -> A2 -> … -> Musketeer
or
A1 -> R3 -> … -> … -> Musketeer.
A2 is not really needed for R3. Many people going to get Fletcher2 instead of it.
And Falconer is not really useful IMO at all. For any build.
I haven’t tested Musketeer myself yet, but from the videos I saw Covering Fire is freaking AWESOME. Take it 5. It is like best Musketeer skill 
Snipe is great only if you have linker in party.
My Build is more for pvp. Cloak > Buff > Snipe 
But it’s not. Ironically, going Fletcher c1 ONLY is a waste of point.
