That is just normal. It is just the AoE damage + Link Damage. A thread here featured that effect before. I donā€™t think all skills can reproduce that effect.

All hits of an AoE that hit a monster are multiplied by JP now so itā€™s a super buff especially if itā€™s a Wiz 3 so magic middle does like 10000 hits now

So, I have a W 3 / ELE 3 and I was wondering about something:

Why Warlock 1/2 is better than Pyro 2 for elementalists? Arde dagger gives additional fire damage, boosting the damage of pyro skills, meteor and prominence. Pyro skills donā€™t have cast time, working similar to pole of agony and invocation. The CD on pyro skills is way lower than warlockā€™s. Pyro 2 + Ele 2 gives an atributte (Using Fire property attacks to finish nearby enemies will cause an explosion and splash damage by 80% with a 30% chance) to all fire spells (Meteor, Prominence, Fire Pillar, Fireball, Flame Ground) and it seems to be a pretty damn good boost on AoE damage. Warlock 2 doesnā€™t seem to be a good choice at all for rank 8 class (I didnā€™t liked the 2 new spells, but since I didnā€™t reached R7 and R8, canā€™t tell for sure if its good or not).

So, why warlock?

Pyroskills are very, very late game not so good.

Also, the fire damage from Arde is added to every skill you use(and Autoattacks), not just fire skills.

There is essentially no difference in added elemental dmg and magic attack.

Itā€™s simple, just look at the base damage of Fireball versus Dark Theurge for example. You are essentially comparing a rank 2-4 class to a rank 7 class.

Obviously, Fireball will hit a lower damage ceiling due to its low base damage, and you definitely wonā€™t be bursting as hard and as fast as what Dark Theurge does on its own, unless you have some prep time to pair up your quad-hexa Fireballs or whatever with Joint Penalty(incoming nerf) or Psychic Pressure. My two cents.

As of now, I have no comments for Warlock circle 2.

Also, we can always be waiting for warlock c3 in rank 9 :slight_smile:

Iā€™m pretty much making a ballmancer (no rush - itā€™s just there to help me get more mission runs) with mostly solo in mind. Itā€™s already 110 (0 stat investment just to see if I can) and already soloing siauliai and crystal mines missions (gonna try gele plateau next).

Whatā€™s been eating away at me is [firewall]. Based on my current play (and boss mechanics) I don;t have the time to make a shape for [firewall]. Iā€™ll end up double tapping my hot key for the straight line shape.

In addition, does anyone know what you get per lv of [hell breath]? I have it at 1 now and if the description is right, adding pts will only get me more damage per hit (not really good at higher lvs). Iā€™m also getting some sort of effect where I donā€™t get hit (?) while channeling (thatā€™s the point going wiz c2 for [sure spell] and since Iā€™m going c2, I may as well go c3 for [quick cast]).

Then thereā€™s also the possibility [enchant fire] could get some form of scaling suddenly making lv 15 amazing outside of ā€œgives 1 extra line of attackā€.
