PVE/PVP(?) Monk Build (RO Style)

So if what you’re saying is correct, surely it’s still better to go my build & respect skills after a month at which point you aren’t crippling yourself for a minor gain that is not even 1% of your damage in the higher levels.

Surely it’s better to have sacrament when you actually need it. Leveling up towards Monk. Instead of a month later when the usefulness of both blessing & sacrament for a hardcore player is already limited.

Even then what you’re suggesting relied on the server he decides to join having a healthy supply of Pardoners. No matter what why you look at it. Doing the route you’re suggesting while leveling makes no sense.

It would be better to simply buy a skill reset potion a month later. Instead of crippling yourself & everyone you group with for the first month of the game. Waiting for that Pardoner who’s gonna charge you out of the noise early on.

Again all it seems you’re suggesting is the poorly constructed guide to leveling badly.

Thanks for all of your different points of view! Now I can make a build knowing its risks and benefits.

Thaaaanks @Menech @Wurmheart @Severilous @Gringe @iceblaze1994 @LirashMjorl @Huerin!

Hey guys… im really confused in choose between this 2 builds.
Cleric>Priest>Priest>Priest>Monk>Monk>Monk
or
Cleric>Cleric>Diev>Diev>Monk>Monk>Monk.

Can you explain me the pos and cons of each ?

Thank you.

DIV focuses on AoE debuffs and buffs, as the priest focuses on “direct” buffs/heals for party members (or yourself).

The DIV has a “party” teleport (AKA RO warp), and the priest do not.

It’s a matter of style.

If you ask me, if you want to deal damage as a monk, the path to follow is the priest one.

Also, priests have higher survivability due to their heals.

Hope that helps!

Thank you diegoa!
I think i’ll go the priest path.
Here is my build:
If you could take a look for me.

Looking pretty good! In fact, that’s almost the same build that i will use!
Maybe, if you need some ranged damage, you could take a single point from palm strike and give it to the flick.

Not quite.

Diev has better dmg due to carve, carve owl and the -20% cd reduction. It’s defense is nigh useless in pvp though as silence is easily countered by bloodletting. Rest is fluff tbh.

Priest can be a bit more reckless due to revive/resurrect and has decent phys dmg prevention via stone skin though. (Especially good in pvp) But it’s dmg isn’t as good.

Healing is a bit more complicated:
Cleric2 is simply more flexible; it can heal up a single target on low health much quicker, can place more tiles prior to them being needed and can’t miss allies. But it can be reversi’d or destroyed by select skills.

Priest3’s Mass heal heals more in total, but only if everyone is hurt and within it’s range. It’s also quicker to heal allies in this way as it has more range but does heal individuals for less then cleric2 can.

Just different pro’s and cons.

Here is best Monk build for late game atm.

The rest of monk points is up to you.

This is PvE, PvP, Solo build.

Bless + Sac help you early game before monk.
Late game is Safety Zone+Double punch and Energy Blast when waiting CD.

Yes, you need cleric 2. Why? Safety Zone, Heal and Divine Might.
With cleric 2 you can easily heal any party and can solo anything.
Also Safety Zone is OP >> Stone skin without Spr. Need cleric 2 for attribute.

But yes you won’t be the best Healer in game and won’t be the best Dps in game.
You are jack of all trades. Deal with it.

Obviously use plate for survival and stamina (melee class str/con/dex) and upgrade your attributes.

what are the suggested gems for a cleric 2 diev 2 monk 3 pvp build?

NO, Blessing is ur Main Buff, Sacrament is an extra Dmg Type.

Blessing is an awful skill that is a completly waste after lvl 200, while the extra hit from sacrament is great at any lvl. Even when blessing is OP at low lvl, how 171 damage is going to be usefull when mobs have over 100k hp? While sacrament works like a proactive for any additional damage equip, example: Arde Dagger, Toy Hammer, Venom (when you hit with the dagger), Ignition (in case you have a wizard in pty), etc etc.

Could I ask you pros about this build?

Reason I go krvis is for the Daino in the future since more people would have more buffs.

And for the monk skills I forcus more on the damage output skills since the first 4 classes is already focus on ultity.

Thanks in advance!
