PSA: We are probably not getting the fully updated patch

From my understanding and the patch notes (I could be wrong), we are only getting the basic Rank 9 expansion. Which means that the following patches are NOT included:

We will see tomorrow, but if that is the case, I don’t see a point in having a class reset event when most of the newly added and old classes received some substantial changes after the Rank 9 update.

That is why we have ktos thread and alike to know what is about to come, credits to people who feed information there specially the ktos/test patch notes translator @Gwenyth .

yeap this is version 1 of the the r9 patch. I feel we would receive the later changes together with musket changes which ktos received not too long ago.

You can reset with the future changes in mind, beggars cant choosers. At least we got the reset event

I don’t want that buggy patch, Gebura is going to be bugged then <_<

Also no new Kabbalist Class attributes is just :tired: (not that they are any good but better than nothing since IMC simply rejects the idea of Kabbalists being useful).

What is wrong with doing your research, and resetting with advanced knowledge that things will be changing? Do your homework.

Nope, we will get R9 patch but before rebalancing. In KTOS they have like 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4(last one) and I think I’ll get 9.1 :joy:

If it is going to have a massive reformulation and these skills being bugged and of obligation of the IMC providence when leaving the future corrections items so that we can arrange the builds.

It is not because we have access to Ktos information on behalf of the players that the company should be free to do a good job, you can have access, I can have access but not everyone can have it.

It is her duty, since everything has been corrected and has a time, have already applied these corrections and deliver something more “balanced.”

What good to give 14 resets, if later the players will have to redefine just about everything? Not to mention that this possible delayed patch comes with big bugs and a shadowmance that from HITKILL without even leaving the place.

I was hoping to play around with builds and then on the last day reset nearly everyone in my lodge and just wait for the patches/fixes. Kinda sad though not everyone in my lodge can get a reset, and it’s gonna end up as one-time only per char. :confused:

Yeah, this is probably the Nov 2nd kTOS patch, which means:

  • Bullet Marker has overpowered autos because of the synergy between old Running Shot and Double Gun Stance
  • Bullet Marker hasn’t received the skill buffs and QoL fixes, so it’s very clunky
  • We’re getting the old Zealot’s Blind Faith, which is Murm Shinobi levels of broken; also, our Zealot will have OP Immolation too
  • Shadowmancer’s original version is very underwhelming (no bonus damage against ground targets and low scaling)
  • Matador’s original version can taunt the whole screen with Capote
  • Dragoon is still a joke (Gae Bulg auto-retrieve attribute with high SP costs and no buffs to Dragontooth and Dragon Soar yet)
  • No new attributes for many classes such as Sage, Featherfoot, Lancer, Mergen, etc.
  • Hoplite and Cataphract aren’t reworked yet
  • Falconer’s Circling and Linker’s Hangman Knot safe for now
  • Musketeer-chan isn’t doing her best yet
  • We can’t increase our Looting Chance yet
  • No Gem Seller (Fedimian NPC) added to the game yet
  • No Class Rollback system yet
  • Multiply Tokens still consumed before entering an instanced dungeon
  • No new cards, no nerfs to cards nor tweaking to summons’ SFR

There are more stuff we’re not getting tomorrow, but those are what I can remember. We shouldn’t worry too much about the reworks being done later because they gave Rank Reset vouchers to all players that have characters with reworked classes on kTOS.

A lot of the fixes for what you are saying were implemented on kTest before launch and thus is inaccurate.

Reworks change everything including the lower rank circle classes that you ought to pick along your last circles and that needs a number of times of resetting to notice those little things that work or don’t. We can read about the changes I guess but basic research is different from applied. I guess we’ll see in-game after the patch.

Players with changed classes will get another reset later atleast.

I’m still glad dragoon will feel alot better with rank9. Unless I forgot some buffs the only real big buff we won’t have is the extra overheat for dragon soar. Feels bad to have to wait 2+ months or something for that and the hoplite buffs though.

Seriously you dreamed of a smooth and complete patch? -LOL

It will be the patch full of bug, which will cause a huge instability on the server, the reset event will be compromised … But look what a beautiful custom!

here’s the dilemma though:

Do you build your characters now for changes that will probably happen in 2 or 3 months judging by the rate itos gets updates—

or

do you build according to what we get in the patch and hope to god IMC really does give out a damn rank reset that they’re so stingy with, and for every character affected?

I wish they’d just promise to give out rank resets whenever they make class changes

Be serious, we are under imc itos unfathomable grand scheme :wink: they know “better”.

Thats why people shouldve researched in advance to be prepared hue hue. Already got my characters planned out in advanced so whether or not the new changes like the cata/hop/goon/etc. Buffs aint coming yet im already prepared. (But im still depressed of not getting those buffs yet :sad: )
