Thank you. I’d have loved for this to be P2P, as I have no issue with it and it does tend to keep more RMT out (not to mention give the game’s publishers the money to properly maintain the game), but yeah, as of now it’s F2P. Everyone is equal.
In my server it’s 980k each
Hope I get one soon. My Diev is already drooling for one
But my talt power is increasing may be I can just trade it using Talt power!
Question: Does that really matter? That kind of discussion is really superficial
. People that look down on people that didn’t pay for the early access are just retarded.
Token benefits aren’t the same as a exclusive server access. The token your paying for slight benefits however the benefits you get are listed. While you could add exclusive server access to that benefit the problem with being able to simply buy a token from market causes that to null the benefit people would want out of a exclusive access.
I understand! And I agree. I just l-o-v-e seeing all these entitled people. So much anger. It’s beautiful.
There is no exclusive server access. The SEA server that isn’t open to new players currently isn’t exclusive its just delayed so that the population spreads to the new server first.
Normally id agree with you, but there are only 9 tokens left on klaipeda market lol. I think the time of cheap tokens may be over for now.
Good thing i have a years worth of tokens…
All the people reaching so hard to try to break down OP’s argument, y’all gonna break your arms!!!
Its pretty simple:
Buying the early access did not make you a “B2P player” vs “F2P player”.
You got into the game early. And some other ingame items/bonus.
Thats it.
You aren’t entitled to exclusive content.
You didn’t purchase “exclusive content”, you bought early access.
There is no argument to that.
You are arguing against fact.
And if you think an early access purchaser should have the right to exclusive content that the other players don’t, well, that’s pretty stupid. And really makes no sense.
No people, these aren’t “b2p players” suddenly. They bought an item in a free to play game. That doesn’t elevate them to some higher-entitled status.
The tokens don’t even do this either, as they only add percentages of bonuses among other additional benefits to already free features. There are no token-only classes, areas, items, etc.
This argument wouldn’t even be had if this game hadn’t just come out.
Two years from now, are only the users who bought the early access two years in the past entitled to features that no one else can have? Because thats the qualification you hold on “b2p players” vs “f2p players” currently.
Some people here don’t even understand what “free to play” even means???
Even if you buy something, you are still free to play. You were always free to play. That doesn’t suddenly make the game not free to play.
You CHOSE to buy something. Everyone is, in fact, “free to play players”. Its just some of these players bought an item(s). And after you buy something, the game is not suddenly a subscription based mmo lol, its still FREE TO PLAY.
I want to buy TP when it becomes available but I’m not about to act like I deserve certain other features /just because i previously bought something and others havent/.
/rant
I know, I posted that because I thought you meant you see tokens as a special treatment and they should had access. The tokens are just a services.
I was referring to arde dagger not tokens.
Yes i agree with that, put at the point a player starts buying the bonus’s / costumes i consider them a paying player.
I’m not against that idea however I don’t think it really adds to anything. The idea of that reminds me such as Team Fortress 2 where yes all players are free to play even if they bought the game before becoming free to play however because players choose the spend money on the game even once they unlock benefits such as larger storage however the benefits in no way really places above or below another player as everyone has access to the same content with exception of a few cosmetics.
If you take a look at guild wars 2 it’s basically the same with a few set limits if you count only the core game.
Oh, my bad. didnt see that…
League of Legends is Free to Play. But people still pour money into it for skins.
Hearthstone is Free to Play. You can earn card packs for free. But people pour money into it.
Anything where you have to pay money in order to play, be it retail or MMO like WoW or Final Fantasy Online, is different from real Free to Play games.
Free to Play = Download, install and play without the need to use real money.
Fee to Play = Pay and download in order to play. Could include subscription based or pure retail copies.
Both could include micro-transactions. Micro-transactions =/= Fee to Play. It’s a person’s need/want to have things that could be someone’s downfall.
Free to play means FREE TO PLAY. Even if you spend your money or (mostly) your parents money you are not PAYING TO PLAY, you are paying for anything else but not to play. The act of play it self is FREE, so yeah, the game is Free to Play, for everyone.
Sillute people should learn it too.
Really? Finally. If only they’d release TP bundles. Then I could actually list some up myself, perhaps.Been waiting for about as long I expected, though.
come on, how old are you people, or how long have you been into gaming ? free to play is a bait, a trap, of course is free, but free knowing you will be gimped compared to those who “donate” or “invest” in early access or DLCs or whatever.
If it were as balanced and well organized as for example League of Legends, where its only cosmetics, i would accept your “free to play” deal, but no, even for LOL, you start with 12 heroes that rotate weekly, and you must invest hours to be able to buy at least 1 hero with Influence, OR, pay some to buy it right now.
F2P is an ilusion that dissapeared at least 6 years ago
Yes, Tree of Savior is indeed free2play but when you put money into it, you are considered NOT a free2play player because you actually put in money into the game to fund the game’s content development.
So there’s no difference when a free2player doesn’t put in money versus the one who are actually funding IMC? LOLs… Is this ur first MMO hun?
Hence why there are token benefits. Those who spends have more advantage than those who decide to not spend anything. Face it, if you don’t have money in this world, you are nothing and pretty much considered as a FREELOADER and doesn’t have a RIGHT to say anything because first of all, you didn’t spend money.
I can’t blame you if you’re a freeloader. If you don’t want people to think you’re nothing, go spend money on this game, You are pretty much not helping the game’s development cost.
Reality check; if you don’t have money in this world, you are pretty much nothing and not entitled to any single thing.
I don’t know about you, but I haven’t paid a damned cent and I’ve been playing absolutely fine.
LOL, have fun paying for bugs and lag for the circle-jerk privileges you think paying entitles you to. I’ll be over here waiting for the game to become worth my money.
