PS3 Controller can be used to play?

It´s just a question can i play with a ps3 Controller this game??? :flushed:

I’d also like to know.

Yes, you will have the choice to play with mouse & keyboard or with joystick, after I think it will be ok to play with ps3 joystick, I’ll use xbox controller, so why not with ps3’s :3

I’m assuming any controller with a compatible driver for your operating system will work. PS3 controllers work with windows just fine so yes it should be possible.

Take a look at this video:

They are using a generic controller.

Alright haha thanks for the info guys, keep waiting this amazing game -

MotionInJoy lets you use a PS3 controller as a XBOX controller

It will be fine, or just get X-Padder which allows you to reconfigure any gamepad to emulate an xbox controller.

xpadder is 3rd party software @_@"
will they allow xpadder to run while playing ToS? (xpadder can be used for macroing)

Here’s my solution

Since then I’ve bought a PS4 controller and am using that software. works good, I can disable the vibration and dim the controller lights down ect. I also tested it on a ton of SNES and PSX emus.

So is Razer Synapse =O but I use it all the time =P
Most gaming mouses come with software that does similar things >_<

oh =O i smell botting in the air XD
hmm well… eitherway if ToS supports genneric controllers then u can just buy cheap 3-5$ controlers XD they wont easily break and they can help u feel the controlling aspects of a high end controller ull soon buy =D

Macros aren’t botting <_>
Sif I will use a cheapy controller when I have a brand new PS4 one, pshhhh
I didn’t use it for macros anyway, I used Synapse to create a decent interface out of the crappy one the developers tend to give you. u_u

All gaming software & drivers are by default, 3rd party software. It is allow because gaming devices such as the GameBoard, and specially design mouse for MMOs require these software to function fully.

All gaming devices has macro ability. What is allow and what is not allow is a grey area. If you use the gaming software macro to automatically play for you while you’re not playing the game, that is not allow. But if you were to actively trigger the macros, this is allow by many game publisher, hence why I said it is a grey area. That and my experience working as a GM in the past.

PS: As for 3rd party anti-protection disabling the feature, all gaming software has a feature called persistent mode.

neat device u got there! XD

well i was joking about the botting part =3="
hmm just sudjesting to use cheap controller to master (for those who havent tried controllers yet… better start at slow pace )

oh curious… whats a persistent mode? @_@

hmm will tos have an anti-3rd party program? wont it disturb the controller players out their? =<

Well the PS controller things just emulate to the standard Xbox one in the system so the game should only interact with the standard windows controller stuff. I think you can get around stuff like running other software by using virtual console (I think it was called) I don’t remember the deets because I’m not a hacker lol but to use my PS4 controller I will gladly become one =P

oh ur a ps4 controller user eh? im on the PS1 controller XD its old, color faded, but still rocks!( after roughfly using it in the early days… it needs to retire =3=")
(using an XBOX PS2/PS1 adapter to use my PS1 controler… rewired it and wala! PC controller success! XD the adapter was cheap so i bought it rather speding much on new gaming pad… and PS1 controller has a vintage feel on it haha)

XD lol

now adays people just tend to buy new controllers… i tend to find original working parts for mine =D even after getting a PS2 controller… i still use the PS1, though theirs tweaks in it like removing the rubber cap of the left analog (dont do this… this might hurt ur thumb and wrist… trust me XD) and the new age controllers dosnt have that feel the old controllers have… i wonder why? maybe beacuse its cheap plastic! >=(
PS1 controller is bulky and smooth to touch… well maybe all PS controller have that feature… but i still like ye old PS1 . but thats just me XD i like old stuff

me too i even have the memory card of my ps1 hahaha
