I thought using PS3 controller will cause bugs? something like although you seet the X button for attack, it ends up being O button for attack. or is it just me havng this prob? it happend in other mmos for me before…

Answer: Every Controller which is automatically installing drivers on windows can be used for Tree of Savior.
There is no need of a third party software like XPadder.

Kind regards
Gardosen

@Gardosen A PS3 controller doesn’t automatically work with Windows, the Microsoft controller install in Windows is for the Xbox controller so to use a PS3 controller you need to use an emulator to make the computer think it’s an Xbox controller.
Last I checked. (PS4 controller user here.)

(Playstation and Xbox are competitors, Xbox is Microsoft ie no offical Sony support as far as I know u_u)

That’s so wicked! But will either have enough buttons for everything you can do in RO: TOS?

Why talk about RO? o.O’
you’ll have to press L1/L2/R1/R2 to switch between 4 little “panels” that you will put your skills/items inside :3

Please just use BetterDS3. MotionJoy connects to the internet for no good reason. BetterDS3 is the same thing with a better UI and no botnet.

First you need to know what profile are. Gaming Software has a profile features where each profile has their own set of keybind configuration for the type of applications they are for. Even though it was design to be used for video games, it can be used for other purposes. For example, I use it intensively for Microsoft Word, illustration tools such as Photoshop, OpenCanvas 6, Manga Studio, and even for programming using IDE such as Microsoft Visual Studio and Android Studio.

Now that you know what game profiles are, many gaming software is able to detect what application is currently being used by the users, and will change the game profile to match the application automatically. However, 3rd party anti-hack software will disable this feature, thus not allowing the gaming software to switch to the current profile and will use the default profile. What persistent mode does, is have the gaming software to use a specific profile at all time, overwriting the auto-switch profile feature. It’s basically like changing the default profile and only use that profile.

:hushed:

hmm my mind goes blank understanding what u say their XD but yeah, nice explanation  some how i get what u said … @_@

If anyone here wants to use a PS4 Controller, I use a program called InputMapper that makes the PS4 Controller work on the compy. There is other software like it, but I like this one.
