Your equips don’t matter too much as at the earlier levels, the benefits from armor really don’t effect priests. You can go cloth for SP, or Plate for HP, but leather is probably not worth your time (unless you cant find cloth or plate).

You’ll mostly be in the backline, so stat wise it depends on what you plan on doing in later ranks. Im going Monk so my stats focus more on STR. You dont need INT on a Priest so the common builds are a CON/SPR, STR/CON or DEX focused builds.

As for skills, you want to max Blessing as soon as possible. After that, if you’re going Priest2 (which you should imo) you want to max Sacrament second. Blessing gives you extra damage on basic attacks and abilities and Sacrament gives you a secondary basic attack. I have level 10 blessing and level 42 attribute and I give my party over 268 extra damage on basic attacks.

After Blessing/Sacrament, you want to get Aspiration to level 5 or 6. this provides a decent +28%/+30% defense buff that lasts 120 seconds.

As for Monstrance, you only need 1 point. the extra DEX it gives the party doesn’t scale with level, and any more points than 1 will only increase the time you have to sit there as the skill goes off. Your party all get the buff regardless, so the least cast time, the better.

Finally for your last few points I would recommend the following: (This is all for Priest 2)

Mass Heal is really useful for a group priest. I recommend maxing it out if possible after all of the above is completed. level 5 gives you a heal of +28% of your max HP and +255 extra HP. This will heal you automatically so it can get you out of tight situations while healing your party.

I recommend 1 point in Revive and 2 points in Resurrection. Revive is a REALLY good skill to use for a boss fight as it allows your party to negate 1 death. If your party member dies within 90 seconds of revive being active, they will automatically resurrect with a % health based on the level of revive. Level 1 revive will be 5% health. Its a nice reset buffer as they run to try and get healed. (It also effects the entire party). You need Resurrection level 2 in order to add extra seconds to your revive through attributes.

The rest is up to you. If you go Priest 3 i recommend following my advice and keeping Blessing/Sacrament maxed, then maxing out Stone Skin with your last 5 points.
If you go Paladin, then the extra Restoration Buff really benefits all of your heals and gives you a good +50 SP regen with the attribute.

ok thanks this help me a loot i plan to make a priest 3 so i gana follow your advice but actuali i put a loot of point on int, there is some way for rest it?

Currently in the beta you can buy a status reset scroll from the miscellaneous merchant (iCoins option) for 5 iCoins. you get iCoins from the journal NPC.

During release, these wont be as easy to get, so I would plan ahead.
Priest doesnt have much in terms of magical attack abilities, so INT is wasted on them.

thank men, if some time i see you in the game i wanna put you a like (Y)

I thought I might toss in my two cents here as a Priest enthusiast who took a Priest to C3 and on to Monk and is now rolling a new one, planning on C2 to Paladin.

I would say that the majority of Mioure’s advice is sound. One thing I would strongly suggest everyone consider, though, is the five buff limit that is present without the use of Daino. As a group player you have to be considerate of which buffs of your own are most important for the situation and how to balance those with the buffs party members might be using, such as War Cry in the case of Barbarians, for example. Also please be aware that this matter more than likely will NOT be considered by your party members unless specifically discussed. In my experience the majority of players have no knowledge of this buff limit and will spam their own buffs with reckless abandon.

In my experience I found Aspersion to be essentially worthless. It forces you to carry around and spend money on Holy Water and gives an ultimately negligible defense increase that just eats up a precious buff slot. I skill reset out of it fully on my then C3 Priest and have opted to skip it entirely on my new one. The buff limit also makes me inclined to focus more on Resurrection over Revive as Revive is a buff. Both are very useful and should be obtained, though, so as to allow adaptation to the situation at hand. Everything else Mioure said stands firm.

The biggest boon for any Priest in my opinion is pumping STR exclusively at the start and getting the full set of Cafrisun armor ASAP. This armor can be farmed from the Cafrisun boss at Nepavy Grassland in Strautus Gorge. This complete set of armor will trigger an additional hit on your auto-attack that will receive the Blessing damage boost. This armor will carry you all the way through to at least level 128 (where I stopped on my Monk). With this set up in addition to Sacrament (which also gets boosted by Blessing) you will become an auto-attacking monster that can out DPS just about any other class at the same level (at least from my experience). This build will make you a great party player that can solo quite easily when the need arises.

My favorite thing about Priest is the ability to not only heal party members but to make them physically stronger as well though the use of Sacrament and Blessing. You will be a huge benefit to any party with your heals and support and also by making everyone else able to kill much faster.

Here is a video I recorded this morning to show a friend what a priest can do:

It’s crap quality but you get the idea. Also, at C1, max blessing and nothing else. Save the 10 points so that right when you hit C2 you can push Blessing to 10 and get Sacrament to 5. Also be certain to continuously level up your Blessing attribute. The vast majority of damage you get from the skill comes from the attribute.

WOW! so if understand right you say that for you is better just give me str? and thanks so much for you help i surrely wanna try

Yikes! So THE secret is Cafrisun Armor!

@chipp_genome Yeah, I would do STR exclusively until it’s at least 80. On my first priest, I went to 100 before touching DEX. On this new one I’ve been putting a few points into SPR and CON just to experiment and because I’ve been in more of a supporting role among the band of adventurers I’ve joined up with. You won’t need any stat other than STR at any point before the level 50 instance dungeon at the chapel entrance. Having STR will make training go so much faster as well, once you get rolling with your auto attack action after leaving the ā€œheal everythingā€ phase.

@Randy Yes, that armor is the secret to the priestly might! It gets even better if you can party with a Pyromancer who has Enchant Fire. That will add yet another line to your AA which means four hits of Blessing boost.

To anyone interested, I can provide a detailed early game, grind-based leveling guide that can get you to rank three in roughly four to five hours as a Cleric and about three and a half as a Swordsman. I have not tried Archer or Wizard so I have no data on those classes. You mainly just need a decent sword which should be easily obtainable so long as the market is working. If you would like this process laid out, feel free to let me know.

@chipp_genome You’re welcome to the advice. I’m more than happy to help. I feel bad when I see other Priests in the field doing poor damage not knowing what their character is capable of.

@midgeee Yes, definitely a battle Priest type of build. I will try to write out the guide and get some video footage for it tonight and post it tomorrow.

how come this armor does double damage with required level being 15? or there is always a double damage when you have used full armor set?

Show us what you’ve got, Dan!

@midgeee The extra hit is a special effect of the armor set when you wear all of the pieces. I have yet to find another set that has the same or a similar effect. The bulk of the damage you are seeing is coming from Blessing. The additional hit’s base damage is really low but it serves its purpose as a Blessing sponge.

@Randy, and anyone else interested in the guide, I will post it sometime in the next few hours. I’ve been swamped with work the past day so it’s taking me longer than expected to finish it. I’ve also been having trouble capturing video demonstration so it will be a text-based exposition with a few pictures maybe. It’s a really straight forward process, though, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

INTRODUCTION

To start out, let me clarify a few things just to be sure everyone is on the same page.

This guide is meant to get you to level 41 and rank 3 class advance as quickly as possible. This method focuses on a STR intensive early game in order to increase auto-attack damage and clear mooks quickly. This path relies entirely on grinding but questing can be freely supplemented as the player sees fit. There are a couple of quests in Strautus Gorge that require you to kill the mobs you will grind so you may as well do them.

The fastest time I have had getting a character to rank 3 using this method was 3 hours and 47 minutes of playtime with a STR-based Highlander. Being in a party for Phases two and three will speed things up considerably. Also, the Swordsman ability to sprint and to kill things more quickly is a huge benefit and will always result in a significantly lower time for them over Clerics. Swordies, master your sprint and learn to manage your stamina. If you are getting low on stamina, stop dashing when you have 3 or 4 remaining and begin to rabbit hop continuously until you get to a Tree Root Crystal. This will keep you moving along and save you walking at a snail’s pace due to depletion.

I have used this method with two priests and two Highlanders with very favorable results. I have no experience with Archers or Wizards so I can’t attest to the viability of this method in the leveling of characters from those two classes.
Naturally, I cannot guarantee results but I’m confident that this method can work for anyone willing to try it.

THE GUIDE

-Phase One: The Way to Klaipeda-
Once you have your character made, get through the beginning dialog with the soldiers at the gate and don’t bother to talk to Titas again. Immediately begin on your way to Klaipeda on foot. For both Cleric and Swordsman you are going to want to pump STR exclusively from the outset. Cleric should put their first skill point into heal and Swordsman should get Bash. Cleric will want to max Heal ASAP and Swordsman should keep bash at 1 while maxing Gung Ho ASAP.

Keep moving along while killing Chinency to gain a couple of levels. The area with Infrorocktor, Hanaming and Kepa is where you want to be. For Swordies, focus on the onion dudes since they’re weak to slash damage. You can clear groups with Bash. Clerics, start wailing on the stone guys with your club and use your Heal to wipe out of the plants. You want to stay here, continuously killing things as quickly as possible, until you hit level 7.

Once you reach level 7, head into Klaipeda. Don’t bother stopping in town. Just keep running straight through to the right, past the blacksmith, and out the gate to the Eastern Siauliai Woods. At this point, your skills should look something like this:

Cleric - http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/jkvoqw4ed6/

Swordsman - http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/d754ndwq7h/

-Phase Two: Miner’s Village-
Once you have arrived in the Eastern Siauliai Woods, you will want to move towards Miner’s Village as quickly as possible. Kill everything that is conveniently in your way along the path. You should be able to gain a level or two from the Chupacabras and Popolions on the road. Do not take any detours or bother with any quests in this area. They will only slow you down. Keep moving towards and past the goddess statue and onward to Miner’s Village.

Miner’s Village is an amazing, amazing place. Once you arrive in town, hit the goddess statue (this will save you time at class advance) and start heading right from there. I’m sure everyone is familiar with this map as the afk attackers’ paradise where the Large Red Kepa appears. Your main targets are the masses of Red Kepa and Jukopus. These guys drop Falchions, which you will want in order to speed up your kill times. You will grind here until class level 15 and will then continue afterward until character level 21. Be sure to try to get some hits in on the Large Red Kepa when you can. You can score a good shield from it and some decent leather armor and, of course, more loot equals more funds.

Once you have completed your class advance, go sell all the loot you have acquired thus far to an NPC. After you do this, head straight for the market NPC and buy the best level 15 sword you can find. I believe the Cinquedea to be the most useful yet affordable option at this early stage. Once you have your implement of death in hand, be sure to grab some anvils from the general goods NPC. Upgrade your sword as far as you can afford to as soon as you can. Head right back to Miner’s Village and get back to the grind until you hit character level 21.

At this point, the builds I recommend look like this:

Cleric - http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/vnivk30auo/

Swordsman - http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/z8qko63h7b/

-Phase Three: Strautus Gorge-
Now that you are character level 21, it’s time to hit the gorge. From the Miner’s Village grind spot, head across the wooden bridge and swing a right southward onto the branching path leading to Strautus Gorge. This is where things start getting interesting.

What you want to do is head rightward once you enter the Strautus map. Grab the quests from the Watchers next to the cable car and head downward to the goddess statue. From the statue, you want to continue at a down/rightward angle to the area called Nepavy Grassland. This is your home now, all the way to level 41. Just keep grinding your heart out on this map until you hit rank 3. This map has amazing spawn and is also the area where Cafrisun appears, whom you need to farm for the best armor for Priest. He spawns every half-hour but you can usually find him by channel surfing; assuming there aren’t a bunch of other people hunting him as well. If you get any extra armor pieces while missing others, be sure to offer them for trade to other players who might have the ones you need. In my experience, the pants are the hardest to come by.

NPC all the loot you get out at Nepavy as you go along and you should be sitting pretty once you’ve hit rank 3. If you are playing a Priest, I cannot stress this enough: BE ABSOLUTELY SURE TO COMPLETE THE CAFRISUN ARMOR SET AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! It will make your life and kill speed significantly more satisfying and efficient. For other classes, it’s a nice thing to have but in no way necessary like it is for a Priest.

Some skill build tips I can offer for efficiency based on my experience are as follows:

Priest - Once you are a Priest, put 5 points into Blessing and begin leveling it’s attribute as soon as you can. If aiming for Priest C2 (highly recommended), DO NOT PUT POINTS INTO ANY OTHER SKILLS! Save the other 10 points for your advance to C2. You will want to push Blessing and Sacrament to max right away. You can work on the other skills afterward.

Highlander - I suggest getting one point in each of the attack skills as early as possible, with precedence given to Cartar Stroke > Wagon Wheel > Crown, in that order. Having multiple skills on hand will allow you to wipe more mobs more quickly rather than having only a maxed Cartar Stroke for example. Don’t bother with Cross Guard. You will more than likely never use it. Be sure to get the Two-Handed Sword Mastery attribute for increased critical damage.

Peltasta - Swashbuckling and Umbo Blow have great synergy. Focus on those two skills primarily.

This concludes the guide. You should be a happy rank 3 now, ready to move on and see what the rest of the world has to offer. Congratulations! Happy hunting and happy…savioring???

Thanks for reading :open_mouth:

Please dont use someone else’s post to explain your entire guide.
Just a link to your thread should be enough.

Its rude to the original poster.
