Price in Russia is unacceptable

most-expensive-cities-in-the-world
You right i’m sorry, i probably shouldnt include New York in my example.

And that contradict my post how, my young little genius?

See the above.

So you’re playing with VPN?
Reported.

Omg, thank god i dont have a gun. Did you even think bro??? Its about that IMC didnt warn nobody about the price changes. Do i have to draw it for you, my sweet heart? . IMC just raised the prices like magic just one day before the sales off. You f.uckers make me cringe so much. @pikaegde

Oh sorry my only Russian Language education came from Dota.

Thing is steam holds to its system and IMC acts. And using a VPN for 80% discount is something that many people I know do.
Steam does not really care about this as customer numbers are far more important for a business of that size. But small companies such as IMC suffer because of such abuse.

I guess we can consinder this a C1 language schooling. For cursing at least.

You should be really stupid.

Because in YOUR country 45$ is “one time lunch”, you think it’s the same in Russia?

What do you don’t understand about AAA titles for 2000rur?
You even know what is the standard of living of a country?

■■■■… do you mean your country currency is that “bad”

are you guys serious? You mean all of you are just… poor?

nope… we dont play using vpn here…

How old are you? Just for curiosity.
You think if prices of a country (in general) are lower the country has bad currency?

For the love god, study some things.

PD: If some country the social upper class earns 200$/month (yes, in some places) is a country of poor people? xD /epic facepalm

Actually since I started following the mighty LiZZard and got myself a gamoshka for victory Russians are my favorite teammates. I know more useful friendly phrases than curses.
Europeans are far worse.

It doesn’t matter if the standard of living is cheaper in your country and thus $200 a month is high. If your currency doesn’t get you much on the world stage, then your economy is bad in comparison to the rest of the world. The international economy is what matters, not the small local economy in whatever country you’re from.

Sorry, Comrade. You and your brothers will be remembered as heroes who died to slow the march of our mutual enemy, RMT.

Let’s talk about the real problem please? This issue can be easily solved be selling TP only packages with no tradable items included, this way they can use the steam rates with no damage to the game economy.

Focus your efforts on that because the price of the DLC packages with tokens won’t change.

Wrong. Ppl would once again use a VPN to some 3rd world country, buy the DLC cheap, transfer it to their own steam account, and $$ profit. The problem is that most botters and hackers did this. So no, the solution is not that easy.

  1. You can’t gift DLCs.
  2. Even if you could, Steam doesn’t allow you to gift content worldwide (bought something once and couldn’t gift to a NA friend since the game is cheaper here).
  3. You don’t have to sell it as DLC, make it a in-game purchase instead ( those instantly deduct the amount from your steam wallet and add the items to your account).

As far as I know the only premium tradable item is the token, so transform it in a cheaper DLC (token only, no TP) and sell it in the international servers using the common dollar conversion rate and then you sell TP separately using steam adjusted rates. Additionally remove the token from the TP shop.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

Did you see them SOLVING anything so far?
Instead of solving they prefer making RESTRICTIONS. On every problematic aspect.

I gifted the 28€ DLC to my gf.

correct, however…

… the legal basis for this is difficult for IMC in some countries, there’s a reason why a lot of games choose certain ways of marketing.

They try…sometimes. But this is by far the easiest issue to solve as of yet.

@Brobbulus Forget about all this DLC discussion, it doesn’t really matter, they just need to sell TP (with adjusted regional conversion) and Tokens (with the current universal conversion) separately and remove tokens from the TP shop. The issue comes from selling items that can be traded for silver at different prices because of the adjusted rates. Only tokens can be traded, TP not (neither you can trade the other items purchased with TP).

So you want them to sell tokens with … regional prices, I guess? Do you see where this leads?

It would be fraud all over again. Or… ppl complaining about unfair token prices all over again.
