Please dont generalize. I’m Russian and i’m not insulted because i understand IMC’s reasoning behind the changes. They will just receive less monetary support from me.
Originally Russia was getting the EA1 for around $15 USD I believe. I almost wanted to use vpn to abuse man but then I remember I’m not poor and can afford it. Don’t mind my name.
Your post is an insult to intelligence itself.
And just a couple of years ago $47 would only equal to around 1400 RUB. So source of the problem is actually a weak currency. Say thanks to your government for that.
Anyway, IMC already stated that getting rid of regional pricing is a temporary measure. You guys can always just don’t pay anything (game is going F2P in less than a month) and wait for some sort of regional pricing to be re-established. Once IMC implements their new trading system (with less restrictions for F2P players) it should be even less of a problem.

This is not a solution. Ping is too high.
Lol at those who claim those people are poor being unable to afford such prices. If you knew anything about conversion and life in specific countries with wages comparison you would never make such a statement. We live in easy to live countries, give them a break.
Give back old Russian prices, BUT make a token sale restriction, so those cheap-bought tokens wont be able to be sold.
Wow, actually it’s the best idea, I’ve sen so far. Wish I could give it 200 upvotes. Untradable cosmetics will not have any influence on market.
I’m pretty sure that routing doesn’t go directly from Russia to Singapore so it might be a bad idea. From Russia it goes through either US or EU first, so by right players from Russia would get much worse pings to Singapore rather than to EU or US.
I’m in Singapore and my friends from Russia are getting 300+ pings when they join me on local servers (in some other games).
As for regional prices, there is no solid confirmation that prices won’t be ever adjusted for Russia. Just wait and see how it goes.
Don’t worry, F2P launch are postpone untill mid May and regional price might kick back in during that time
just Ignore all people that who didn’t get affected , with the latest news their opinion are irrelevant
It’s normal that the first-worlder are always laugh at third-worlder anyway
let them bark all they want
crappy situation.
but what else is crappy is how the botters and RMT’s were taking advantage of the price of the DLC packs in certain regions to make more bots for even cheaper. sadly, a few rotten apples spoil it for the whole bunch.
once the servers have been regionally relocated, this is what they’ve already announced they will be doing.
then again, regions right now are USA, EU, SEA, and soon BR.
EU will likely be priced comparably with USA… so i hope your pings to SEA are good…
Correct me if I’m wrong but shouldn’t Steam be bothered by this, not IMC? As far as I remember Steam has stated clearly that using VPN to abuse pricing is strongly prohibited and is punished by decapitation permanent ban. What’s the point in prohibiting something if you cannot control it?
IMC stated here that selling tokens do not affect market anyhow so…
Lol, haven’t seen this post.
Therefore all their announcements seem to be contradictory. Basically if they want to incease price - influx of tokens does affect, however if there is a problem on their side with poor security measures - it doesn’t :))
Please listen to this IMC and apply the same idea to all affected regions.
Btw, its not only Russia but whole CIS region. And there are ALOT of potential customers.

congratulations.
not only did IMC agree to this suggestion, but they agreed so hard they fell back through time and announced it yesterday afternoon.
(good job keeping up with announcements about the game.)
Yeah, so the price “fix” doesn’t stop anything except creating new accounts for cheap, which is why pack #3 was removed… so why remove regional pricing? Or… why remove pack #3 if it would have been more expensive, too?
no one else seems to be aware of this ever having been said.
they said things that… if you read poorly… might -look- like this… but they weren’t this.
what the price fix does:
it stops some people in the community from getting the same products while paying less than 1/3 the price.
this prevents people from exploiting the cheap prices in one region to buy a lot of the DLC, and then selling it “cheap” (compared to the expensive regions) while making a profit in some manner.
everyone demands they do something about botters/RMT…
and then they do something about them, and everyone suddenly demands it be something -else- that doesn’t affect -them-.
