i can’t believe it’s happening so soon!
I need help for a good build Plague Doctor PVP/PVE T.T
Go with a support cleric2/priest3/chaplain/plague doctor or some spell caster variant like cleric2/krivis3/druid/plague doctor for more offense based cleric.
wurmheart, does priest buffs applies to magic skills? like additional atk of blessing and sacra?
Blessing simply adds +x bonus dmg to every hit, doesn’t matter if it’s auto attack or skill.
Sacrament has a similar effect of adding +x holy dmg to every hit, regardless of source.
But it’s secondary effect, a second hit of +x holy dmg only works for auto attacks. Not skill triggers that effect.
So you pretty much get half the effect out of it on a skill based build, like int clerics.
I have some questions after reading about some skills. How many points should I put in SPR to make some skill useful in a offensive support build. Would around 100 SPR be good? Or is just a waste?
Is carve owl useful in a INT:SPR build? I read that it can’t turn around, but did they changed this? Like being able to turn around with the diev as if it was a machine gun? That would be fun.
And a STR:SPR Krivis? During cbt I was killings mobs and even some bosses faster with Zacial + auto-atk than with Zaibas + heal + cure, and that without putting any point in STR and with around 20-30 SPR
And any news about shape shift and transformation? It seems pretty boring and limited now, a Shape shifting build is out of question for now right? If we could store x number of transformations based on level of the skill, then it could be better and more adaptable.
Depends a lot on the skill and it’s spr scaling tbh.
But either way you’re going to have to wing it a bit, i haven’t tested enough spr variations in icbt2 to know yet for sure.
Full spr stone skin wasn’t so amazing in pve with icbt2, but higher levels and more stats could turn that around entirely.
Carve owls is very good, even on part int builds. But yes it only fires in a cone in front of it so you need to think about where you want to place them.
Depends on what else you got in the build as well.
But zalciai is a difficult one to answer, considering we don’t know the exact crit formula yet and haven’t had access to the full potential of int/str scaling.
And int skills do start off rather slowly, so that’s no surprise either.
Only heard that earth tower mobs may make for decent transformations.
And it really does need some attention from imc, only seen people use it for the invuln exploit and pando’s speed buff.
@Wurmheart Thanks. I was just thinking about some unusual combinations that could work. Like a STR/DEX Oracle or Pardoner or INT Diev or Paladin.
Krivis has only 1 INT based spell but most topics says to build him full INT or SPR, I think he could be put in a STR/DEX or STR/SPR with Paladin or Monk builds and work pretty well instead of the usual Priest choice. It would be an auto-atk class most of the time but could be fun trying this out
About Paladin, is there some info about Barrier: Holy damage attribute? It deals damage only on the first contact or every time they get close? I can’t find videos about this.
- Str monk or paladin with a oracle as r7 can work relatively well.
- Pardoners only work with int builds via discern evil atm imo. (or perhaps a monk + pardoner bleed build?)
- Dievs are fine as int builds.
- Haven’t been able to confirm if paladin int builds are viable yet alas.
Krivis is worthless for a str/dex build imo. None of it’s skills add enough dmg in that scenario.
But making a phys build based on spr with zalciai could be very good.
And i haven’t seen anything concrete on barrier’s attribute either. Which is a shame because it would be vital to a potential int paladin build.
You could do a build for me, at tosbase, like a Cleric2/Priest3/Chaplain/ Plague Doctor(PVP/PVE) ?
Not without knowing what you want.
I’ve edited the post, take a look at it
Mind you, i’m not sure how last rites scales with it’s own skill level yet.
Perhaps we can squeeze in Magnus instead, but it’s a rather tricky skill to use anyway.
Ohh thanks man !!
finally I just wanted to know the stats distribution
Stat is a lot more flexible.
High con is best for pvp, but overkill for pve.
Int offers best dmg and a boost to healing, better for pve.
Spr offers block and damage, more of a defensive route better for pve. (As in pvp the block penetration is not that high.)
So just pick a ratio between the 3 you like.
I wanted to play monk what do you think about C1>P3 build since divine might nerf and should str:dex be 1:1? Or should i just abandon it for better dps build?
Priest3 monks are fine. They’re the most defensive monk build imo.
But if you want more dmg you’re better suited with a cleric2/diev2/monk.
Full str is the safest route with monk.
Not sure if dex is worth it for us at all, we still got low base dmg, 1 handed weapons and to few crit boosts as is. Not knowing the crit formula doesn’t help either, but we do know it scales down with player level.
Might want to experiment a bit at earlier levels to see what you like. Just keep in mind str will only get good at high lvl.
Just wanted to clarify on your paladin builds. So are you going full STR at this point with atleast 50 in CON by 200? So no Dex?
Yep.
Strength is simply far better with more hits and dmg multipliers.
- Smite will hit twice with the attribute, +3 times if used after conviction.
- The multiplier vs demons/mutants also benefits from how much defense you bypass first.
- You can also use str to scale conversion, but i’m still not sure how viable that skill is currently.
- And it scales each 5 hits from carve if you go the dievdirby route.
Dex works better on swordsman/archer tbh.
I just want to know one thing. Can paladins make people cry in pvp with a melee in your face style dps build like WoW ret pally?
