Hey so this is my first foray into ToS so my build and strategy is completely theoretical. If someone who actually has some experience could help me out that’d be great.
Always been an archer fan and the ranger class looks nice to me for its AoE skill barrage and single target critical shot. I saw some archer c3 -> scout-> fletcher builds but they didn’t look like they had much AoE dmg. Max Barrage and Critical Shot, Main AoE and Single dmg respectively. My plan is to use Bounce shot to aggro and dmg enemies, and then use 2 x barrage (w/ knock back attribute?) and finish leftovers with another bounce / critical shot. I used 5 points on Steady Aim, but it looks pretty bad as a skill, I could go for High Anchoring (not sure how useful lvl 5 would be)
For Bosses, figured critical shot, well placed barrage, and arrow spiral.
Later on I chose fletcher to increase single target DPS + debuffs like Bodkin (reduce defence) and Magic Arrow (silence chance) and Cross Fire for more DPS.
Few Questions:
Do skills like Barrage and Bounce shot crit?
Not sure what stat allocation I should use. Seems like I’d need some SPR for skill use. First 50 lvls maybe 30 dex 14 str 5 spr? Or 30 dex 10 str 9 spr? and then focus mostly on dex + str, 2:1.
For this set up none of the main skills have crit attributes (except arrow spiral) should I get more str then for base dmg, or stick with dex for the crit rate and evasion. (I’m assuming I’ll need evasion if those mobs get to me T_T)
