Post your plans for build changes

Here’s my plan: Nothing. I hope I can rediscover the game like never before, you know, min-maxing stats, trying out new class combos, building around one niche skill, etc.

(((Silent prayer: I wish there will be no more meta and no more discrimination and even the rainbowest of rainbow builds can join daily dungeon parties with no problem (rainbow build with efforts that is, I don’t support bad playing style).)))

Currently? My plans?
I have 4 character which i care about.

My main: Sw3-Pelt-Corsair-Fencer3
I probably wont change anything (since i love Sw3 - Pain Barrier, Restrain)
Pelt seems appealingfor Defense purpose (Evasion/PDef) - but i might change that into Barb1 for Cleave (Cleave + Lunge seems like a nice boost for Flannconade spam…) - Also Bonus for Critical Rate (Which will probably very important)
Corsair - I´ll stick to Corsair, because someday in the future i wanna use Rapier + Pistol (Also i like the costume)
Fencer - Well i wanna play a rapier class so no way around it, also i like its style (Epee Garde stance <3)

My alchemist - early ranks doesnt matter for this character, so i´ll stick to my Pyro-Linker3-alche3 build

My Cryo-Chrono-Sage
Well Ice Magic is a must have, I always play anything with Ice Magic in games.
Timemagic is also something i realy like to play
For the Sage part…i like that animations (probably stick to it)

My last character is a Sw1-Pelt-Hop2-Corsair3-Shinobi
This one will probably see a major overhaul (although im still set on Corsair 3 - Shinobi -> If i can play a Pirate Ninja, i´ll play a Pirate Ninja)
I might change that build into Sw3-Pelt-Corsair3-Shinobi (Same reason as on my Fencer - i cant live without Pain Barrier…)

In all honesty: this is one of these typical tl;dr posts that barely gets attention because it simply is too much.

Currently also concerning Sw2 for my Doppel build. I hope tos.neet or another source can provide a new/old comparision function in order to see how it works currently and then.

Man, you got to get with the status quo saying I am just an exaggerating doom poster. When you post something direct to the point then that is just trolling. IMC has not played the long ball game here with anything including all these radical changes.

A tree takes time to grow but sadly this one never got a proper plotting to grow and only became a twisted mess. It really is best to not plan or expect and just wait. That is what most people have been doing since April 2016.

  • Low ranks will become much more relevant in the combat update context, so expect people picking more base class circles (sword c3, archer c3).

  • Due to the removal of exponential stat bonuses, now you can finally spread your stats based on your needs, instead of just full [insert main stat].

  • Because of the improvement of the game’s balance, people now have much more choices to make, and as consequence, you can expect a lot more of “confusing builds” and rerolls due to the difficult of choosing “right”.

I play swordsman classes most of the time, hopgoon in particular. So for me, the hopgoon usual meta build will change from Sw1 - Pelt1 - Hop3 - Doppel1 - Drg2 to Sw2 - Hop3 - Sw3 - Drg2.

My plan is to change my Fletcher-Mergen to that Machine Gun Musketeer build now that DEX allows you to speed up your attack speed.

I’m mostly going to use the resets, assuming they are given, to fix minor circle issues with my primary characters.

  1. A2 > Ranger3 > SR2 > Hacka – Might switch A2 for Rogue1 depending on how crit is handled. I already invested in crit atk stuff, and I like the idea of really needing to hone my positioning to make the most of combat.

  2. C2 > Bokor3 > Krivis 1 > PD2 – Gonna switch Krivis for Miko, and I hope that the damage nerfs on miko and PD mean it’s okay for me to make the build debuff/support focused + zombies. I like that playstyle better, not that I dislike being DPS now.

  3. W1 > Pyro1 > Link3 > Alch3 – If link3 is terrible, I’ll probably switch it out for whatever combo with pyro is remotely interesting. If Link3 is the only linker, I guess I’ll keep him as is.

I also just have a ton of dead R5/6 alts floating around, and I’m raising a cadre of new alts to R8 just to have room to experiment with all the new classes to see if something sticks. I’m looking forward to SPR changes for Necro and Sorc and new ways to build melee mage.

F*dge! This statement made me think of the possibility that IMC might release the reset with a minimum rank and/or level requirement.

*Keyword is might, not will.

You know, to [urge] you to pick up those dead characters and also add nicely to your [active playtime] ingame. If I were in charge of this particular issue, that’s what I’d do. :stuck_out_tongue:

Helps inflate some numbers for better stats too.

Doubt it because I hope by this point in time they understand the average player retention problem. What is more than likely to happen is them releasing paid resets in the cash shop.

Planning for my main cleric to be…

Cleric2 > Priest1 > Sadhu2 > Miko > Kabbalist2

Not too sure how viable the build will be, not enough silver to buy attributes to test sighz.

Everyone’s going to be shouting for Ein Sof SP Care™ after the patch, especially when grinding.

…or Zemnya statues.

Calling it now, Diev3-Kabba2 will be the new meta.

… or we stay on DievDoc, like before. Because people are egoistic and wants to deal dmg by themselves.

My own peculiar build was the Chaplain > monk 2 > inqisitrice.
With the return of spr builds, auto atks on spr should be better than double punch on it, so return of the auto atk power for the build, and playing monk with dots. But could also think about alternative mmmh

Kicking monk for some krivis/miko/sadhu could be an option. Either for the factor of dmg of krivis/miko + the support they have that would be better with spr build or either going for sadhu to be abble to use the soul as faster way to move into contact to do the chaplains auto.

And well i have arround 17chars, so thinking about all the chars is kinda hard. Most of them are going to stick nearly the same, more likely i’ll be abble to play them more like i wanted arround picking skills with the new factors.

edited my plans a bit since RIP scout 3 farmer
