With the introduction to the class, Mergen. I’m wondering which of these 2H bow you guys will use.
I didn’t include these 3 because they are near impossible to get 
Marksman
Lolopanther Bow
Solmiki Bow
Ive had a khasti and maga at +10 or higher in the past with 3 t6 green gems and several different awakenings, I’m using the Light Gorithos now, transcended with a 40 elemental attack awakening. Maga Bow is no longer BiS unless you are considering large type mobs but no-ones going to maintain 2 bows for a mob type you encounter maybe 1% of your time online.

yes, the only advantage maga bow has is on large type mobs but that doest mean bosses, it just means like blue harugals at steel heights or a big black griba mushroom etc, large type mobs make up like 2% of the monster population you encounter in a day so its just not practical to dump 20 million into a maga bow now and yes, to do a maga properly you will spend well over 20 mil, speaking from experience, get a Light Gorithos, the stage1 transcendce bonus gives a +0 light gorithos more base dmg then a +8 khasti or +6 maga alone
Light Gorithos for now. However, pass 280, I think we will see new 2H bows. Hence, the reason why I stopped upgrading my Light Gorithos further.
With trandescend mechanic those with high raw power weapon is preferable.
Currently maga bow is excel at boss hunting and give you some survivalbiliy(mission/guild mission/ saalus etc.), but not much offensive bonus. But I still prefer have a maga bow (with few upgrade) for the time being until find a stronger Lv 270 or higher bow to replace.
Yeah. I think just use what you have for now because at higher levels we will see new 2h bows.
What’s + are you at now on your Light Gorithos?
+10 only with level 1 trancendce and 3 lvl 6 green gems. I think +5 is enough for light gorithos. Had some silver anvils and just got lucky with it.
Around +10 you will have 479-651 base damage without the trancendnce.
Will this outdamage +10 Superior Kracked Shooter + Manamana?
Where to get marksman though?
Saw some ppl selling it… but no clear info about it.
Flying mob - Yes. Non Flying - No. I still use crossbow + manamana most of the time.
Its a bit hard to get. You get it from Mirtis World Boss. I also want one.
Your question is irrelevant beacuse mergen skills require the use of 2 handed bows. I currently use a maga bow, but will take alook at light gorithos.
light gorithos is the absolute best bow damage wise atm, nothing beats it.
I use myself a khasti bow because i bought it with 3x lvl 5 gems on it, and i use a dex build. But will switch to light gorithos bow the moment i can.
Ground monsters crossbow + manamana is king will always be king for that. I use both and there is a big difference in damage. For flying nothing beats a 2 handed bow.
no one interest in Markman 2H ?
marksman is around 35m (recipe) so it’s not really practical to overups it. so light gorithos is the go to weapon choice.
Like I said Light Gorithos, you can see even people in this thread still commonly mistake that maga bow effects bosses, it does not, bosses are not “large type” they have their own XL category therefore the maga’s bonus only applies to a very small handful of monsters you encounter a day. Now I wouldn’t go crazy and try to +15 one but id go 8-10, there will be new bows but that’s a still a good month off or more.
i am using Briquette Superior Wreech Bow , 18 crit rate awakening , this bow is powerfull and cheap repair/weapon buff/awakening
