PLEASE, please dont release silver trade between players

No silver trade = less RMT between goldsellers and players.

My honest opinion. NEVER release the silver trade, keep with the trade market and the game will be fine.

Which RMT are curently using and makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. So what’s the point?

To annoy players and make your game worse?

Because he’s alone and has no friends to share stuff with.

Another kirito. hahaha

This is a pretty flawed argument. RMT will be in this game no matter what the circumstances are or how many barriers they put up. Even if they can’t use the auction house to transfer silver or trade silver between players, they can still just sell items for real life money. If they limit it that extensively, then many more people are hurt than the damages that are caused by RMTers. I just went to a pretty well-known RMT website and I see that I can buy an Arde dagger for $25. I basically just paid $25 for a million silver.

I agree with this, and I have friends currently playing the game. I’d prefer my friends to farm their own equipments and enjoy running dungeons with me

You’re an awful friend. :frowning: (kidding)

I play with my GF and friends too but i dont need give silver for anyone to “help” or stuff like dat. If someone need a equip i can trade.

Silver trade will make the Goldsellers rich and dat will broke the game economy. More silver = high prices and new players cant farm aloot silver for maket equips.

This make a monopoly between some players and will make the grinding boring and hopeless for better equips. Like Ragnarok Online, better itens = high amounts of zeny.

How would they trade it to you if you didn’t have a token? They can’t use the AH since there will be a mean-market price for Arde Dagger that they have to adhere to, and they can’t trade you silver to buy it.

Yeah, u right but release the silver trade will make this more simple. Arde Dagger is pretty hard to drop but silver is totally worth for RMT.

It’s very simple. I have a token and they have a token. I trade them a meaningless item and they trade me the arde dagger. I paypal them $25.

It actually does nothing because instead of buying silver to buy a rare item, I would just buy the rare item.

But in the end it doesn’t even solve the issue in the first place, it just hurts regular players. RMT and bots are still a problem. I can’t even report them, which is the dumbest thing. This is a problem they should have seen coming, with every online game comes bots and RMT. I absolutely dont understand why there wasn’t a report function in place to begin with, its pretty basic.

Edit: Clarification i dont really care if i can trade silver or not. I just want to trade regular items.

All I hear is the following: “Please don’t make this game great because I’m scared of the evil gold-sellers!”

Get a â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  hold of yourselves, you guys are so easy to manipulate

Right, so gold sellers have to rely on their clients having tokens AND they have to have one. That is flawed.

It’s really not flawed. You’re assuming people having enough real life money to partake in RMT but not enough money to buy a token? Or with how easy it is to farm the silver for a token as tons have stated on this forum on why the trade restrictions aren’t so bad? In the current state of the game, casual play until about level 100 gives you more than enough to buy a token.

If they could farm the silver for a token, they would not be buying silver from a gold seller.

There is no way to guarantee the client buying the silver has a token, so it is disruptive to the process, and gold sellers may decide to spend their time on other games.

You have quite obviously never purchased an in-game currency before and are not knowledgeable in the reasons why people do so. Just because you can farm money doesn’t mean you do. It’s very reasonable to assume that someone who has a token would like to purchase some insanely expensive item that costs over a million silver. They just simply buy that item (or the necessary silver) to do so. It doesn’t matter if you can’t trade the silver. RMT websites will just start selling the item and do a 1:1 trade. And, like I said, tokens are very easily obtainable in this game through casual play. Or just buying an early access pack.

The buyer doesn’t need a token neither does the seller. its all done through the market the % loss due to market tax is the buyers loss and the gold seller buying the item off the market doesn’t need a token to do that. am i missing something?

You’re not missing anything. People on these forums are just blind to the fact that the current restrictions literally do nothing to curb RMT in this video game. If there is a way, they will find it. In the process, normal players will be even more restricted and suffer.
