Not all of these solutions need to be implemented together, but some of them would be great.
As it stands right now, SPR is a highly undesirable stat. Classes like Sorc will avoid investing into it at all costs because it increases their downtime when using Summon. Other classes avoid it because it simply doesn’t do anything for them. There are a few skills that scale with SPR, but not a whole lot and not really to any real importance.
Requesting some of the following changes be implemented:
- Higher SPR should result in decreased time between SP ticks, in addition to the current effect of higher SP ticks.
- SP ticks both in and out of combat need to be reduced by half. It should take half as long to regen while sitting as it does while standing/fighting.
- SPR should give decreased cooldowns at a rate similar to that of Critical Rate. The more SPR you have, the shorter your cooldowns are.
- SPR should increase the length of buffs and/or decrease the duration of negative status effects.
- Sorcs should not have their SP drained while having their summon out. Or at least have their SP regeneration continue while it is being drained.
