Please, Help me with my "half login screen" D:

Greetings, Saviors!

I searched several topics in this forum and several other sites and could not solve this problem. As you can see, the screen with the “logo” of the game appears in half and it’s already bothering me. Could anyone help me solve this little problem?

I played in “closed beta” and the game flowed normally, but the login screen was the same as today. I thought this problem was because of the beta, but the problem persists so far.

Specs:
Model: HP Pavilion dv6
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz (2 CPU’s)
RAM: 6GB
Graphic Card: Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express 1695MB
S.O: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits
DirectX 11

This happens when i play on my Laptop but not on my house computer.
I think it has to do with your Computer specs

With my house comp everything is perfect because it is a beast of a machine. But my laptop is super old and even the char face does not load when i play there. Maybe same reason for you?

Did you not pay for the DLC that had the other half?

Yaaaaaas! Actually my desktop is broken and I can not test the game on it, so I’m using my laptop (it’s not too old). I’ve tried several ways to solve this problem, but still nothing.

Well if you bought the 50 dollar one you didnt have this issue since i believe they bundled it in with everything else.

Doesn’t make sense! But all players who have not paid will have this same problem. I believe that this problem is not related to “money” but with settings.

Its an MMO as well. You need a lot more people to see the full screen.

It’s likely due to the wide aspect ratio.

What are your laptop specs. Which version of directx are you using? Is it a dedicated or integrated graphical card? What are your graphical settings set to ingame? What drivers are you currently using for the graphic card in your laptop? Are they updated? Or have they been recently updated? What happens if you rollback those drivers?

Try this:

Navigate to your tree of savior folder:

c:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/treeofsavior/release

Find a file named user.xml

Edit it with notepad.

Find this value:

Resolution mode=“1” and set it to Resolution mode=“0”

See if that works.

The graphic card is not dedicated and all drivers are updated. I updated the post with more details.

I tested all resolutions from my computer (from 800x600 to 1366x768 windowed mode, fullscreen, custom window), all attempts were unsuccessful. :frowning:

Does this only happen at the server select screen?

I cant find anything on this specific issue. Usually it’s an issue with one of those things I mentioned. Did you send support a ticket yet?
