Please give us party voice chat!

It would add a lot to the social side of things if we could easily talk with our party. It would be great for the PvP system and boss battles as well.

That’s it, please add it! Thanks!

No. Absolutely not. How is anyone supposed to pretend to be the opposite sex?

There are already many topics related to it already.

@zhouyu47 go home, you are drunk.

Go get your loli sister to pretend for you when talking! :sparkles:

But on serious note, there are many open source apps that have those features you can use while playing ToS, but all in all I think its a good idea, though many will not use it b’coz of personal reason like zhouyu47 said.

I think you guys can use steam voice chat… it solve the problem alot… since tos also being played using steam but from different server, so let say if the game server is lagging, it wouldn’t affect the voice chat and vice versa…

There is absolutely no reason for tos to have a voice chat. For social aspect? Typing in chat works fine for that. Plus not everyone is willing to chat with a group of strangers that just form it just be a waste of resource when skype, curse , teamspeaker is avaliable for you to use.

If you really want to use voice chat, just use steam voice chat, or use third party software such as skype, teamspeak, ventrilo, xfire, mumble, raidcall, etc.

But from my experience, many people do not like using voice chat with random players. They only use it among friends and guildmates.

I think a in-game voice chat is a great idea. It will encourage new players to communicate more and better fit in to the party role. MUTE OPTION IS A MUST :no_mouth: Im sick of using regular chat in a hack and slash games. Some times its fun to play with random people not just your guild or friends.

For me its a good thing to add an in-game voice chat… its up to the players if they wanna talk, they could still listen to the PL or the one whos talking and leading the party and response in chat.

They could add more options about it like Mute, Volume Option, Priority Speaker and etc etc

Every game with voice chat has the option of disabling it (pretending you don’t have a mic/audio). If you don’t want to, you can just turn it off.

Consider a party with linkers, centurions, supporters trying to coordinate what they do. Consider the HUGEEEE number of grinding hours that can become more enjoyable if you can talk to the random people in your party.

However, PvP is where it’ll shine the most. Especially with the matchmaking system, it would be A LOT more fun if you could strategize a little bit with your team.

I personally think it’s a must in a game that makes such an effort to encourage parties.

Honestly, I really don’t like voice chat in MMORPG.

It separates those who have a microphone + headset, from those who have headset only and can only hear, and from those who don’t have sound or microphone and can’t hear/speak at all.
Furthermore, it is easier to abuse and insult people with voice chat, as it is difficult to log the audio.
It also removes a bit of the magic of the game : chat emotes and character postures become useless.

It’s good if you look in the neutral/positive side of it.

But remember, others can abuse it. If you do bad on the teamfight, others can flame/bully you invoice. Did anyone wants it? No. Especially in PVP. Everybody knows that some people in PVP are Big-headed-know-it-all-Im-supreme-gg-no-re-ill-rekt-you-m8-ill-bang-your-mom-damn-your-so-bad-quit-the-game guys. So if anyone got to be their teammates, you know what will happen. Even if you don’t speak, you can hear them because you need to at least hear what they say for strats. :persevere:

So yeah, it’s good and it’s bad. Like if you look at the CSGO PoV, the voicechat is indeed good and indeed bad. So, let’s just see what will IMCgames do.

But still, I’ll vote for yes! As long as there is a Mute/Unmute button and block button. or the Like/Unlike button. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think i could be something IF and only IF it works only for parties, and everyone agrees to use it beforehand, like a toggle option: “use mic” on the party menu, if 3 or me are enabled it connects you. Otherwise I believe it would be a super annoying thing.

We don’t need it at all and honestly I really don’t want it.

It would be a waste of their time and resources that could be spent on more important things.

With all the voips out there, even one on the sale platform you want one ingame? Seriusly, why?

maybe because the OP thinks its good to communicate to the pt members when grinding or pvping while not distracting on typing on chat. And because other players uses Gamepad/controllers ingame, they have a hard time typing in chat message. :innocent:

Don’t get me wrong, I love stuff like TeamSpeak and I’ve been using it for ages. Besides, I personally will be playing with friends and will probably use these more than any ingame chat.

HOWEVER, these softwares limit you to talking with people you already know. The nice thing about any ingame chat is that it allows you to talk with the random people that happen to be in the party you just created.

It’s like gay marriage… If you don’t like t just don’t do it and let people who wannna do it be happy
