Plans for rank 11

The strongest rank is now avaible. Rank 10 is out.

So what now?
What are the plans for the next rank?
We will have more levels, more stronger enemies and contends but no class rank with means no new powers to face stronger challenges.
I believe the rank system on ToS need a reformulation. What would you suggest to make it work?
Could you IMC share with us players what you have in plans for the future? I’m really worried about the future of this system and of the game. My hotkeys hardly supports 10 ranks of classes. I can’t imagine it going on being worth.

more classes and hidden for rank 8 and more hard pve content with balance and new all day free pvp mode, and some sandbox content would be great !! i would love a reborn system, upgrade character leveling again, like lunia, ragnarok and mu online.

I like the idea of reborn/rebirth. But leveling in this game is too much of a breeze. People will just spam multis, dg resets, exp tomes and done

Why are you so worried like some big shot share holders who invested 2.5 million USD into IMC shares demanding explaination, when in fact you downloaded the game and played it entirely for free?

I don’t work for IMC, but hearing such big shot entitled players like you kinda makes me a bit sick.

“So you implemented this, what is next? How are you going to make us free to play players feel more satisfied playing your game moving forward? What is your suggestion to make my game play in this basement more immersive? I am very worried that you and your team are not going in the right direction that will affect my gameplay”

New Rank 11 where you can only choose new Rank 11 classes and cannot use classes from previous ranks.

Then make Lama or Asura class and give Monks their ultimate Asura Strike.

Master circles / ranks for rank 1-5 classes like it was once promised.

Yeah I feel that they should stop. My hotkeys are flooded with skills, and looking to use skills got worse ever since they changed the cooldown UI to the current horrible one where the cooldown shade fades clockwise (I’m sure there’s better way to describe this). You’d think a skill has fully cd, but upon losing focus on your battle to take a closer look, it still has a dull timer ‘2’ to it.

For me a possible way to implement rank 11 is to implement master circles for low rank classes and restrict to choosing them, and it’s designed to have perhaps only 1 more skill. The rest of the boost will come through attributes. This would also explain why they are already giving attributes to Rank6-7 classes, because IMC knows they will never ever get to benefit fully from Rank 8 classes.

In many RPGs, the max level of characters is way lower than the one for monsters. My guess is that r10 is the final rank, there won’t be any r11 classes. So players will have to invest in their gear and class attributes to compensate for the increase in content difficulty.

I’d love to see rank 13 someday tbh. They could then release final classes for each tree and that’d be the end of class progression but NOT level progression.

To accommodate harder contents that will be necessary for new chapters, they could create a transcendence system (RO2–style master level, if you will) where you can remaster earlier ranks (let’s say up to rank 4 classes).

But beware—transcendence system is usually poorly done. If they provide ways to give more skill points, that will be the end of it. I think extra stat points are OK.

Beyond that and I honestly have no idea. If IMC faithfully continue and expand the lore, they will need to give players new progression possibilities as well. Unless they decided to finally end the main arc (Laima and her revelation thing).

The final classes must be extra, flashy, and scream “look at my muscles.”

If new classes aren’t a good idea, rank 10 to 13 can be reserved for remastered circles. That’d be acceptable too.

You can only choose one class to be remastered.

Example: Master Pyromancer adds more low-damage dots at rank 10, more utilities for Fireball at rank 11, a shiny new spell at rank 12 OR upgraded Hell Breath (stationary, fire-and-forget Hell Breath, anyone?). Something like that.

Rank 11 just means hotbar bloat.

the other day just create a supposed game for my guildmates on what could be a future rank 11 I leave them in case you are interested in playing also XD

Let play reinforse your build rank 11.

The game consists only for the main character, there is no rank reset and it is a guess that it could happen in a future rank 11.

The rules are like this

As it was, your main character rank 10 that you would choose in rank 11.

The detail is that you can not choose another class that has not already been learned (so to complete c2 or c3 of that circle), now if you are already rank 10 and you are of the pure build c3 in more than one class and do not want to choose the base c2 the reinforse is the option.

What does the reinforse consist of?

It’s a dialy that will give you the master of the class you choose to repeat for the fourth time; the dialys must be done for 15 days, after 15 days the master will reinforce your c3 this does not become a c4 is still c3 but will let you learn another 15 points of that same class.
Hidden classes can not be repeated

I somewhat hope r12 would be the “last” rank, but r11 basically be the last filler rank.
Then everything after r12 would be content you acquire via leveling that buffs any of those 12 ranks (as in, the master class idea I suppose, idk).
Since MMOs aren’t really supposed to end, and they have to have something to do after ranks that isn’t just giving us more hotbar coverage.

I also thought of a silly idea at one point that the final 12th rank could be a universal class called the Savior class, which gave minor buffs for all of your stats…
The joke being that the game’s name is Tree of Savior… as in, the [Skill] Tree of [the] “Savior”.
So you could either pick that, or round off an older class if you needed to.

Some people agree that the rank evolution has to stop.
Some says rank 10 should be the final rank.
Others ask for a new higher rank than 8. After rank 8, new rank with stronger classes from 11 to 13.

No doubts that the number of ranks we can get have to stop otherwise we won’t be able to use all skills from all classes.

Some peoples suggested mastering ranks, when the level raise, enable a possibility to master a rank and have stronger versions of the skills.
News attributes like they did with rank 6 classes was another suggestion.

keep up guys, let’s help imc take a better decision for the future or we can be faded with something we don’t aprove.

Really ? well Sir. explain for us why they made a Dev blog about future contents and why they also ask for us to ask questions about the future contents ?
“Sufficient contents” well… 45~60% players of Silute (example) finished their Velco SET 1,2 months ago, wich contents are you talking about ? new raids? Oh! wait, they alread told us new contents, slsy bro?

And you are not expressing your opinion about the content itself you are attacking the dude about new contents with sarcasm.

So just because 45-60% of you and your gang finished your Velco set, you directly considered the current content is over, due and finished? Even coca cola case study once used a market research with 60%+ of the survey participants agree their new logo is great. They launched it and it failed miserably. Not only you and your random numbers which you pluck out from the sky, 45% does not mean anything, it is also just only your 1 person assumption without any study. Many of us are still doing Velco dungeon. Don’t try to be a smart ass by giving random statistic.

What suggestion? I don’t see any, do you? All I see here are demanding as a customer and commanding instruction to IMC on what can you give me like a Top ranked President without any suggestions.

Hm… How about for the last rank make a powerful rank11 exclusive class that supplement the class tree. For example, rank11 “super cleric” that amplifies what a cleric branch does (skills that increase heal, buff, support skills. You get to allocate the 15 points based on what your core build is). It will be boring, but that is a simple way to allow more difficult content without messing up the rank system.

Off topic here, I kinda wish rank12 is the final rank. Reason to that is this way players can have a full C3 rank8 and full C3 rank7 in 1 build, but not 2 full C3 rank8 classes (for example plaguedoc3-zealot3, but never zealot3-taoist3)

I think keeping IMC updated with our suggestion is normal. After all, they always have the final say.

People have their own definition of a “suggestion.” It’s fine.

Just keep it civil and keep sarcasm to a minimum.

Maybe moving this thread to Suggestion would be a good idea.

Fencer is already a master circle on its own with that overpowered fencer 3 rank 10 attribute.

I wish classes like corsair, paladin, Sadhu, scout, etc. would get something similar, so youre not forced into choosing only between rank 8 classes to end your build.
