Petition: Nerf Agny Necklace. A lv 170 Rank 5 should NOT make same/more damage than lv 270 Rank 8 classes

Then also at the same time nerf retreat shot to single target because it only shot a single bullet

Not to forget they should give all mobs after level 290 10k pdef + 10 mdef both so that you can forget about playing without armor break and transcend 10 weapons and equipment. Your salty agny hate is finish so is the game :point_up:

Sometimes i ask my self when i read the skills descriptions… WHO THE HELL made those damage formulas? Anyone with basic RPG knowledge can CLEARLY see that 12000 or 6000 are values waaay too big for base damage, in a game where most of the players can only reach 1000~2000 ATK/MATK and most of the skills doesn’t have decent scallings. Base damage and scalling damage should be at least in the same level, for a avarege player with average equipment.

The correct would be:

-Damage/Attack/DPS based classes: Medium base damage, High scallings.

-CC, PvP, Burst, Utility based classes: Medium base damage, Medium~Low scallings.

-Defense and support based classes: High~Medium base damage, Low scallings.

But everything is: Overkill~High base damage, Medium~Low scallings, not to mention the non-sense critical chance formula, which critical decreases with level. I doubt that the devs will accept that they balance is bad and rework all base damages and game formulas someday. Maybe they will put a band-aid or two (like Agny) that will inevitably fail, because the root of the problem is much more deep than this.

I bet this guy is losing the Top 1 GOLD in siauli and other dungeons thats why he’s crying about it. tell me. since when do you appreciate pyromancers before agny was released? NON! during the time when R8 hasn’t released, pyromancers are mostly rejected in party grinds. PLUS you dont know how we pyromancers feel. have you tried deploying fireballs and other fire spells in party grinds and dungeons with some melee + elemem/ taoist members? u will only cri !!!

if you only aim for to become the top 1 dps then go make dps cleric

p.s - im pretty sure will you will complain again if this item is out in iTos

I would say that Agny somehow is okay because how restricted Pyro/Linker currently,
but because Transcendent weapon it became the problem.
I have no problem Pyro being the Top Solo DPS or how inconvenient in the party.

Between OP Base Damage (Transcendent) and OP % Modifier (Agny)
When both meet, we get extremely OP damage 40k per fireball hit output with 100% attribute.
And it is currently only Pyromancer who sit on rank 2 enjoyed the highest % modifier in game, which is whooping 380% for fireballs, not added cheaper attribute % which could easier boost your base damage to 760%.
Haven’t count the low CD, utility Linker, and Sage provided which can take advantage of that to next different level which none of the class in game even close to it.

Should we re-balance both aspect,
Base Damage:

  1. Utilize stats to give more matk or Base Damage
  2. All weapons base attack increase higher with 3)
  3. Reduce transcendent higher stage % (at stage 10, 550% -> 300%) *I serious doubt this, all whales will soar the ocean and sunk everything although it re-balanced by stats given more matk.
  4. Attribute to static fireballs so it doesn’t get pushed.

Modifier %:

  1. Reduce Agny all skill damage to 200% only

When talking about base damage, MDEF monsters and damage formula become the problem too.
So everything are haywired I unsure how IMC developer going to fix it or revamp it.

And, make other Wiz Tree more viable in DPS especially those in latest rank Warlock and Featherfoot.

Was gonna support OP until I realized I need pyro squad in missions to save my poor x8 tomes.

Very much agree. Although Agny does alleviate the situation Pyromancers are facing currently, it is not a long term solution at all.

Pretty much down the road in R9-R10, pyromancers will grow to rely on this necklace more and more as they can’t do damage outside of it. In the end players who chose to take the class will have to “sacrifice” a necklace slot just to be viable.

If IMC continues down this path, then in future when archer low ranks are facing a pinch, IMC will create a missile necklace. Swordsman not enough dps? Create a melee necklace. And we have dps necklaces for all sorts of elementals and whatnot. And such necklaces become a necessity making all other necklaces worth nothing since players can’t afford to use another necklaces in the slot.

There is only so much Agny and other such necklaces can boost, in future R10 when the mobs can out tank what Agny provides, then what?

Ancient Agnys? Primal Ancients?

We do need to solve things at its roots before the situation gets worse, maybe that’s why IMC is now focusing mainly on optimisation and balancing + a relook into stats before content.

they did not factor many things from the monsters and balances. Watch, Ice Necklace and Lightning Necklace next.

Agni was 10x damage rather than 2x when it just came out. Now 10x…that’s the definition of broken. But when its 2x, its still strong, I can still agree to that. But the main problem is the factors that affect it: Character Scale+Stats+Equipments+MonsterFactor.

They clearly did some consideration at the beginning of the game development but now they’re introducing the item with only 1 factor into account. At least this is how I see it.

My claim is not a fact, its just how I observe their updates. Ofcourse there are alot more factors out there. but they’re not doing anything to realize this anytime soon.

I think Lightning damage is in the right place. No help needed there. I think they might introduce something like Icy Bracelet or something that amplifies ice skill cc like higher chance of freezing or longer freeze duration but n/a in pvp. Because Ice element skills and classes are mostly cc oriented right now so no point in buffing damage when people who took ice classes mostly made cc character.

I think it’s fine and seeing other elements will get the same thing in the future, I don’t see the problem.

Yeah I main a pyro/linker now because I have always liked pyro. I used to have another pyro but deleted it because it was so underwhelming. Agny has fixed that problem and I really love the class now.

As someone said above it’s just JP and fireball have some weird sexy combination going on… Not agny fault.

So OP relax and wait for your time to come.

Ah… I remember when Featherfoots could suck blood from fireballs.

Let agny be. Just nerf the way fireballs keeps hitting it self while in joint penalty. Simple as that.
